Chapter 7: Poof!

They arrived at the doors. The doors seemed to loom over the small group of rebels, Pink smiled and turned to Pearl.
"Pearl! The door please."
"Of course."
Pearl rushed over towards the door, beginning to put in the code but, she stopped. A sick feeling growing in her stomach and crawling through the rest of her.
"Pearl...? Are you ok?"
Pink reached out her hand but quickly took it back when it was swatted away. Pearl turned around to face Pink taking a quick glance at Spinel, her face became confused.
"I-I'm sorry, I can't..."
"W-what?"
Pearl stepped away from the door and stood beside Garnet.
"Garnets right, we can't do this... this is wrong!"
Pinks face melted into anger. Her plan was falling apart. She took her hand away from Spinels, slowly walking towards the two the difference in height made it all that more scary to Pearl and Garnet.
"You can't back out now... we're almost done."
She walked closer, Garnet began to slowly push Pearl behind her her.
This has to end... one way or another.
"Pinky? What are you doing? Aren't we all a team?"
Pink turned around looking right at Spinel. Her eyes sharp, just like the shards that scattered the battlefield on Earth. Spinel took a sharp breath in when those eyes met hers. Pink immediately put on a warm smile and ran back towards Spinel, getting down on one knee in front of her leaning in towards her ear.
A few whispers were exchanged and a small gasp of Spinel before Pink shushed her. Spinel giggled and Pink returned the gesture before hiding Spinel with her body as they switched something around with their hands. Pink stood up and giggled again at Spinel she smiled before running to parada the door and waiting, hiding her face every few seconds to hide her laughter.
Garnet began backing up into Pearl.
Somethings wrong...
Pearl held her in place as Pink began walking back towards them. Her hands behind her back.
"P-pink... please... wait."
Fear began to bloom within Garnet, causing Pearl to worry. Garnets never scared, only on some occasions.
This is bad...
Pearl was slowly becoming frantic. Looking at Garnets terrified face and quickly turning back to Pink.
"If you guys wanted to be on a different team... why didn't you so?"
Pearl took in a sharp breath as the words set in. We're on a different team..? Garnet quickly turned around grabbing Pearls hand before a tingle went through her body. She stopped in her tracks, Pearl kept running before she felt her body be pulled back. She whipped her head around, her heart sunk. A growing pain began to fester in her stomach.
No... no!
The rejuvenators light shined through Garnets spilt body. Her eyes locked on Pearls, Pearl could barely see her through the blurring tears that began to well in her icy blue eyes. A cool wind and smoke blew into Pearls face, the rejuvenators light still shining before disappearing quickly with a 'shink' sound. Pearls eyes landed on the two gems laying on the ground. The clinking sound still echoing within her ears. Pinks eyes shined with sun passion for 'justice' Pearl wanted to throw up. Her face widened into a grin and she went into laughter as Spinel clung on to her and laughed so hard she began to cry.
"YAY! TWO MORE POINTS FOR US!"
"Yea! We're totally winning! Right, Pearl?"
Pearl wiped her tears and looked up at the two. She nodded slowly. Spinel lent down reaching out her hands for the gems.
"We bubble them now, right?"
"No no no, not these ones. They're special!"
Spinel smiled at the word 'special'. She began to run her mouth to Pink, question after question. They waited in the hallway for a short while. Pink explained the 'new' rules to Spinel.
"Now, we wait! And when they reform we can sneak in and get The Diamonds! And when they reform we get our prize!"
"Prize!!! There's a prize!"
Pink laughed and hugged Spinel.
"Of course there is! What's a good game without a good prize?"
Spinel opened her mouth to say something but a sound cut her off. She gasped and jumped up. Pearl's eyes followed the gems as they began to float in the air and glow blue and red.
"They're here!!"
Spinel grabbed onto Pinks arm and giggled, jumping up and down.
Sound filled the hallway as the light brightened and a cool air began to blow lightly. Sapphire landed, a small tap as her small feet hit the ground, followed by Rubys feet as she took form beside her. Her arms in a Diamond. Pink pulled Spinel away lightly and walked towards Sapphire, standing in front of her.
"I have a task for you, My Sapphire."
"Anything for you, My Diamond."
Sapphire bowed, same as Ruby.
Finally... it's all coming together.
