Chapter 9: We meet again.

The doors open and Sapphire walks in with Ruby following closely behind. The Diamonds stood together in the middle of the room, their voices were sounds of mixed emotions.
"My Diamonds, I bring good news."
Sapphire bowed, Ruby doing the same.
"What is it Sapphire. We're very busy right now if you couldn't tell."
Yellows voice boomed. Though she didn't seem angry it definitely came across that way. The other Diamonds didn't say anything. Only stared.
They don't want us here.
"I found the rebels, and I'd come here and bring them to you."
"You've found...the rebels... you found... Pink? S-shes alive?"
"Yes, My Diamond. She's alive."
Blues face lit up. All she cared about was knowing if she was alive and not dead for real. Pink and the others walked in, Spinel holding her hand and Pearl following closely behind.

Gasps came from the Diamonds. Pink let go of Spinels hand and began to walk forwards toward the Diamonds, pushing past Sapphire and Ruby.

"Oh! Pink! Thank goodness you're alright. We've been worried sick!"
"I don't care, Blue. Just shut up."

"Pink! That is no way to speak to her! Take that back or I'll have you and all you're rebellious friends poofed right here, right now!"
"Shut up, Yellow! I don't want to hear it!"

She kept walking forward until she stood in front of the Diamonds. White looked down at her, a look in her eyes that could only mean the worst is yet to come.
"White. We meet again, you fat ass bitch."

Gasps again spread through out the room. This was the last straw for Pink. She watched her life crumble right before her eyes and now? She'll watch there's do the same.
"I came here for one reason and one reason only-"
"My Diamond, this wasn't part of the pla-"
"Shut up, Sapphire! Please! I'm ending this!"
Sapphire wish she saw this before hand. Maybe then she could've gotten everyone out in time before Pink bursts, but now.... now it was too late. The doors behind them locked once they stepped foot into the room and they're only chance to survive would be having Pinks shield to protect them but how could you use the shield if you need the it to protect you from the one who has it?
"White. Blue. Yellow. My family. My family that I USED to love, I hate you. And I'm here to shatter every single one of you for what you have done to MY planet and MY home."

The words shatter rang in Spinel, Pearl, Sapphire and Ruby's heads. Pink used them, didn't she? She used them. Fooled them. Bamboozled them into falling into her trap. Again. Pearl knew from the start, she knew something didn't feel right. Garnet knew but now there is no Garnet to save them anymore, Spinel missed Pink and to take part in her "game"? It was the only thing she wanted. Pink had them wrapped around her finger the entire time and now what? She's just gonna shatter them in front of all over us and then what? And then what!?
Are we next!?
What if she loses!?

The Diamonds voices sounded like they could crack walls when Pink said those words to them. Everything really was falling apart, and they were in the center.
"Pearl! Grab Spinel! We need to find cover!"
"B-but! Sapphire, what about Pink!"
They could barely hear each other over the rising volume in the room. Everything was clashing together and the end result wasn't going to be pretty.
"Forget about her right now! We need to think about ourselves!"
Pearl took a breath in.
Goodbye, Pink.
With that, Pearl grabbed Spinel who stood still. Staring. Pearl tried to pull her away from where she stood but it was no use. She wanted to stay, or maybe she wanted to see what had become of Pink, process it.
"Spinel! We have to leave now! C'mon!"
"no... not without Pink. S-shes hurting. This is why she's acting like this!"
"Pearl! Spinel! Hurry!"
Sapphire sat in the corner of the room Ruby right beside her holding her hands. Spinel looked over to them. Their terrified faces. Then back to Pink. Who's face was taken over with anger and selfishness.
That's not Pink.
"that's not Pink. no...no that's not her..."
"Spinel... please..."
Spinel moves her left foot. Then her right. And before she knew it, she was running towards Ruby who stood in about the halfway point between the wall and Pearl and herself. The Diamonds were furious. The yelling turned to screaming and soon? Pink took out her shield. Pearl ran faster, dragging Spinel behind her.
"C'mon!"
Ruby called to them, pushing they're backs slightly as they reached the corner and Pink threw up shield around them. Giving a quick glance. A small, weak smile. Before look away and jumping towards the Diamonds. They all huddled closer. This felt familiar. Or at least to Pearl it did. Flashbacks to months before shot by her eyes, to when Rose, Garnet and her were huddled like this on Earths crust seconds before it blew up. But this time, she's without Garnet and with a gem that has the mindset of a beautiful young child who doesn't deserve to see such things or feel such neglect. They all felt this way. And they hugged a little tighter, until.... they felt as if they were one person. A single unit that had all their emotions combined. They're only light in this cave of darkness.
