loren's pov
i woke up to the sound of my iphone alarm realising it's my first day at lakeland high. i was tired from going live on tik tok yesterday in hopes of reaching 40k after on of my videos was doing quite well. i was quite happy starting fresh at lakeland, it was going to be a clean slate for me. after what people have done to me in the past i deserved to be happy.
i got up and did my morning routine which consisted of bathroom and makeup time. i put on my casual outfit i picked the night before and went downstairs for breakfast. my mum was up early and served us pancakes. that's me and my brother, mason, he's one year older than me but we are very close.
"pancakes, mmm, my favourite." i said whilst digging in to my breakfast.
"you're treating us today mum." mason laughed.
"first day of school, you need to have all your energy!" she replied excited. me and mason groaned in response. sure i was happy i was having a fresh start but i didn't know any one here or even where i was going. i was just glad i was in a happier place.
