loren's pov
i left english and walked to math with arya and aurelia. we were early and soon some of the boys from my english class entered. one of them, mattia, and i made eye contact for a second too long, i wasn't sure how to feel. i had already sat beside arya and had a free chair next to me. a boy with dark brown curly hair walked in and sat next to me too busy on his phone. there was no teacher until an older man walked in and said he was our cover. he handed out sheets and told us to complete them. i didn't expect this one my first day, i was nervous i didn't know the syllabus and i sat here expected to complete the work.
i was snapped out of my thoughts by the boy sat next to me.
"hey, i haven't seen you before," he pondered.
"this is my first day," i replied shyly. there was a pause.
"what's your socials?" he asked.
"my instagram is @loren."
"25k?! how did you get that?"
"umm i'm active on social media i suppose?" i answered half laughing.
"that's cool."
we continued talking for the remainder of the lesson until the bell rang. i said my goodbyes to samy, i did end up getting his name and made my way to my next class, psychology.
