i came out of my psychology class and found arya waiting outside for me, what an angel <3. we made our lunch and met up with her group. she sat with aurelia, the soccer boys (as i've been told to call them), mar and samy today.
"hey loren, how's your day been so far?" samy asked me as i sat next to him.
"quite good, i've already met some good friends" there was a pause "i was talking about you guys.." i finished. samy cheered. i felt comfortable with these people, well at least the ones i have spoken to.
arya stood up. "i don't feel like we've all been introduced to loren properly so let's go around the group and say our name, yes?" she said with the intent of making me feel more included. we went around the table and everyone did their little introductory speech.
"hi everyone, it's really nice to meet you, thank you for making me feel welcomed" i say with a smile beaming across my face.
"as we now are officially friends i would like to invite you to my party this friday," alejandro cheerfully said to me.
"i almost forgot about that." aurelia chimed in.
"i would love to come alejandro" i replied. all of the table was excited, think of it as my own welcome party to new jersey.
"this means we HAVE to go shopping" arya declared.
"who's free after school then" the king of slatt asked. there was a few yeahs, nos and a i've got homework.
"we didn't invite the boys..." arya groaned. she continued, "loren when are you free?"
"can we do tomorrow?" i asked as it was more convenient for me since i haven't even asked my mom yet.
"yes definitely" aurelia and arya agreed.
