:)

Twas the night before Halloween & the lanterns were lit. However, I cannot rhyme and all of this is on the dime. Please cease my existence.

Okay let's get serious!

Please do remember that the story can take place anywhere in the timeline after the story! So please do enjoy this smutty mess ;)

―――――――――――――

The Troupe has been acting strange. Rather, more joking. The Grimmkin are always joking, but they seem much more mischievous as of late. I've already had a skull drop down from a doorway and some special marker written on the wall of a scary monster that is ONLY visible if the lights are off. That isn't even the start of it either.

I wake up this morning to see an exoskeleton of a bug staring me right in the eyes. Immediately, I scream out in agony as I fell out of bed. I flopped onto the ground and rolled a bit as I felt a bit dizzy from the rush of adrenaline. Grimm immediately rushed to my room.

"(Y/N)!?"

"Hhggg... Ughhh..."

He'd walk over to pick the literal corpse up and gag lightly. He threw it away as he went over to me and got on his knees...

"(Y/N)- A-are you okay??"

"...Hhhhg.. I think..."
I said in half of a groan.

He'd smile lightly, finding the way I said my reply a bit amusing. He held a hand out to me. He helped me up to my feet as he got up with a float.

"Sorry...er- about the Grimmkin."

"That's the third time this week..."
Sadly, it was only a Tuesday.

"Well, I can't exactly control this."

I blinked for a second.
"W-what?"

"Yeah... It's that time of the year. It's like their on some kind of yearly perio-"

"--YEAH yeah yeah- I get it- but... What's going on with them?"
I understood, I just didn't need the explanation.

"Simply, it's the Bloodmoon."

Okay. My mind wandered at this point to many different things. The Bloodmoon could possibly be a curse of some sort that makes the Grimmkin uncontrollably evil or maybe, like he mentioned, act like they are high on girl hormones. To me, none of those seemed like a good option.

"So... They're crazy for a month?"

"N-not really,"
He blushed, putting a hand behind his head and looking up.
"They just act like that on purpose because... er.. T-to get their excitement out."

"...... Okay?"
He did a unconvincing smile as I felt as if there was more to this topic... I'll probably ask again later!
