JUST LIKE ME
"A transfer student?""Yeah!"
"In our second year? That's random."
"Well, that's what I was thinking, too." Kaminari hums while stroking his chin in thought, "But it might be cool, what if it's a girl?!" he suddenly gasps.
"I think there's more important aspects to this, Kaminari-kun. For example, what reason could the system have for spontaneously inserting another student into the course two years in?" Midoriya says, sitting calmly at the couch.
His mind ticked viscously away, trying to conclude what it was all about.
"Midoriya is right," Todoroki declares, balancing on his rotating chair. "The course instructors could have ulterior motives with this new student."
"Exactly right, Todoroki!" Iida chirps, pushing his glasses higher up the bridge of his nose. "This could be a test! Yes, we should have thought of that originally! Shame on us. We must remain fully diligent whilst this new student is with us."
"You really think they'd go that far?" Jiro scowls, sipping away happily at her mug of black coffee like a total villain. "That seems like a lot of effort to go through. And for what?"
"We shall not doubt the efficiency of U-A's staff and their teaching methods! Objectively speaking, anyone-"
"Alright, four eyes," Bakugou barks, swallowing his dry toast and sipping some water to rinse it down. "She could be a test. But might not be. Now shut your square-face. It's too fuckin' early for this shit."
"Hey, Bakugou, how do you know she's a she?"
Bakugou's eyes trance around lamely, and he cracks his knuckles chronically, "Heard the staff chatting about her, or whatever."
"Really?" Midoriya suddenly chirps, intrigued as he climbs atop the sofa's spine. "What else did you hear?"
"None of your damn business, Deku!"
Most of the class goes silent, Kirishima hastily following after his companion as he mopes over to the TV.
"Of course he'd say that, she's probably got a stronger quirk than him and he's unhappy about it," Ashido whispers to her friend, Asui.
"Mina-chan, I don't think that's-"
"No. She won't be stronger than me." he says calmly and sits down with Kirishima on the couch. "I know it."
The whole class is at a stump, when Bakugou had replied to an insult with a calm statement, on record for the first official time in over two years. It's revolutionary for them.
Kirishima smirks and mentally fist-bumps himself.
The ruckus from all of them led to the disregarded entry of you and Aizawa. They didn't even pickup on it at first, which was odd.
