As the hours ticked by, it seemed as though the forecast had perfectly measured the pessimistic weight of this day.

It was so heavy.

A morose, sorrowful day full of rain, thunder and tears was in order, because of the grief that was expected to come along with it.

It was the 13th of January.

Your birthday.

And, though you would have never wanted it like this, everyone who had gathered for you, was stuck in an impenetrable cloud of depression, as they stared blankly, and lifelessly, at your gravestone.

"I'm surprised you came," Katsuki scoffed under his breath, to Ochako, who was wiping the dismal tears from her round eyes.

"Of course I did." she replied, as if it were nothing short of obvious. "She's my best friend." And soon, she was joined by the rest of the girls from 3-A.

As Katsuki glanced around at the people who he had shared his youth with, crying, but trying to hold it back, he realised that he was very glad it was raining, on the day of your birthday.

That way, it was easier to hide his tears.

The boys huddled in a circle, staring in silence, taking a special moment to honour both your legacy, and you sacrifice. Denki and Eijirou sobbed loudly, not bothering to try and disguise it. Hugging each other, trying (but failing) to be okay, after everything that happened.

It was as if a very large part of them had been ripped out.

While they were able to watch you through the years, evolving, growing and learning, it made them so proud to say that they had partly influenced your strive and leaping bound into your new life.

Bad to good.

Dark to light.

It would be very hard to get over your death.

It was one of the worst things that had ever happened to U-A.

But, as much as it was sad, your death would not be in vain.

It was worth something.

It saved people.

So many.

The endless people who you had saved with grace and love over the years, shown nothing but decency to, while you conducted your hero training. The people who saw you on the news or TV, flashing your bright smile and exciting hero suit. The people who helped save you, in times of need. The people who looked up to you as a unique, aspiring and incredibly powerful pro-hero, who had long yet reached her full potential.

All those people would miss you.

Miss you like you were one of their own.

You had a way about yourself. You made everyone feel safe, because of--not only your power--but your pure character. They didn't have to meet you to know how amazing you were. People trusted you. People loved you.

And although you had left all of your loved ones alone in the dark—doing nothing but mourning for you—you knew that you would always be there, to watch over them, and become the lucky star that they looked to for guidance.

In one hand, Katsuki carried a bundle of black-rose flowers.

He knew you liked those. Although you always denied it with passion.

And the other hand, was placed gently on the head of the girl at his side.

A short girl, only up to his hip in height. Soft, dirty-blonde hair, rosebud lips, and her mother's beautifully dashing, enchanting eyes. She clutched Katsuki's shirt, letting her tears fall for her mother who had left her.
