"Considering the impressive amount of effort you have all put into your studies as of recent," Aizawa sighed, readying himself for the onslaught of charismatic replies, "I have nothing against the lot of you attending the carnival, this Friday."
A long, boisterous gasp filled the air in the room.
"THAT'S A COMPLETELY NORMAL HIGH-SCHOOL EVENT!"
Slowly, as the room quietened, the teacher let his breath out.
"Yes, well, I'm sure you've all heard about it already. And I'm even more sure that you were all hoping that I would bring it up." he rolled his eyes, "Some if you," looking at Mina and Tsuyu, "—Weren't so discreet about it."
They giggled.
He was visibly trying to conceal his enmity, with loathsome, bored sighs. "So, my answer is yes. As long as you attend classes for the first half of the day, you may skip the second half and head to the carnival in the afternoon, and evening."
Spotting Ochako's hand in the air, he pointed and nodded at her.
"Sensei, I think I speak for everyone when I say that I really appreciate that!"
As the class cheered in agreement, Aizawa shook his head with a small scoff, receiving the applaud.
"Still, you'll all be expected at school on Friday. So, those of you who plan to get rowdy, should keep in mind that you'll be in for an uncomfortable following day."

He's serious?
The students didn't really understand how their teacher was so openly casual about the implication of underage alcohol consumption.
He was the most casual tightass they had ever met.
Though, they didn't mind.
The class had earned a little bit of freedom.
"THANK YOU AIZAWA-SENSEI!"

"So, Rina, what time are you going to the carnival?"

"WHADDAYA MEAN!?" Mina screeched, "You have to come!"
