"You're alive?"
You'd never seen such pure whammy disturbance on someone's face before. His face was jarred in hysteria, as his multi-coloured eyes explored your form for the first time in months.
It was like he had seen a ghost.
His skin went pale; his eyes doubled in size.
"Seems that way," you scoffed while standing, and dusted yourself off before Bakugou tugged your arm to help pull himself off the bitumen road. "Hey, let go!"
Bakugou smiled, and stood right beside you.
"Y-You-"
"Cat got your tongue?" you teased.
His eyes somewhat softened, "I was thinking more of a bird."
That caught you off guard.
"W-Well you just gonna stand there? Can we get going? You mentioned that you called the police."
"I did," he replied airily, clearly not taking the news that you were finally in front of him again, all too lightly. "But i'm not going to just stand here."
He started approaching you, his mind set on one thing.
You felt yourself move back against your hips a little, because scrutiny was something you were sort of unfamiliar with. Not one bit did you enjoy it, you just wanted to turn and run away.
But you stayed.
You can't keep running.
No more running.
Suddenly, Todoroki cupped his hands on your cheeks and forced a kiss against you.
It only took a split second for Bakugou to intervene.
"Oi! Back the fuck off icy-hot!" he put his arm on your shoulder while using his other hand to harshly shove at Todoroki's chest, making him stumble back. "Fuck're you doing? Kissing her like that?"
"I-I thought..."
"You thought wrong, she's obviously not into you."
Todoroki's head lowered.
"Shouto, forget about i-"
"No! Fuck that! He just fuckin' kissed you when he saw us kiss just a damn second ago!" he gestured to the spot on the floor where the two of you used to be. "Fuckin' bastard! What you take her for?"
Todoroki was so trapped in shock, he hadn't seen the two of you kissing, as Bakugou just said. He didn't even know that your relationship had ever outstretched the boundaries of being purely platonic.
