The loam you hand been given was a rocky terrain, on the edge of a man-made mountain. All around, all you could see was gravel, and large rocks. The region was not one that would be easy on your bodies, with the battle that was about to take place.
The siren rang that signalled the initiation of the test.
You and Todoroki glance over at the other momentarily, then look ahead.
"Let's find him." Todoroki says sternly, and breaks into a jog along the uneven mountain path.
Suddenly—like a meteor out of the sky—a human inferno comes crashing down into the earth just in front of you, burrowing into the dirt upon impact.
The shock wave sent both you and Todoroki back a few meters and onto your backs. You quickly transfer into a bolt of energy, and travel through the air, for a much faster way of standing up. Instantly, you offer your hand down to your partner and help him to his feet; keeping your eyes on the ball of red flames.
A figure slowly rises from the dent, and while flexing his shoulders, comes stomping towards the two of you with a obscene grin across his fiery lips.
"I found him." you say.
You both nod at the other, before engaging an attack.
Initially, you transfer in another black bolt of energy, and fire at his head as fast as the electric currents in the air will travel. But, before you are given the chance to make impact, the man swings a large boulder at your bolt.
Like a baseball, you go flying in the opposite direction.
Landing far behind Todoroki, he's given the chance to make his first attack, where he immediately fires a large-scale ice attack at his father.
You scramble to your feet, dazed. Because you didn't expect that, you should've expected that.
You watch as Endeavour mercilessly unleashes a wave of fire at his son, when he ducks behind a large boulder to protect himself.
Gripping the rocks beneath you, you launch forward, but this time, in your bodily form, surrounded in your black flames. You become a human propeller, when you shoot through the air, and gain on the distracted boy. He sneaks up to him, taunting him with words, and you take your window.
Propping your leg back, you start spinning. Creating a tornado of wind behind you, and you scream.
If he's going to give it his all, so are you. That is the promise you made to Todoroki, after all.
"DIE!" you shout, and swinging your leg so harshly, until it smashes Endeavour in the back of his head, and sends him tumbling aback.
Back in the viewing room, Bakugou couldn't help but grin at you, while he heard that come from your mouth.
