Luke's POV

It's been a couple days since Ashton had left my house and left an awkward tension, I really have no idea what's going on with him. But I hope you feels better soon because I hate to see one of my best friends upset.

My phone buzzed as I just sat on my bed and I took my phone off its charger to take a look at the new text I received.

New message from Michael
Hey, wanna meet up at Starbucks? Calum and I are already on our way.

New message to Michael
Sure, be there soon. What about Ashton?

New message to Michael
He said he had something to do.

I sighed and finished tying my laces up. "I'm meeting up with the guys mum, be back soon!" I yelled into the house before I walked out and made my way down the street. Our local Starbucks was just a couple streets down so it only took me a matter of minutes to get there.

I pushed the door open and walked inside the coffee shop, the strong scent of coffee beans and muffins filling my senses.

I looked around until I found Michael and Calum sitting at a table, three drinks set out on the table. I sit next to Calum with Michael opposite us.

"We got you your usual." Calum grinned.

I chuckled as I picked the drink up and took a long sip, "So, you and Sky?" Michael wiggled his eyebrows at me.

I felt my cheeks burning and my face turned a bright crimson, "Yeah," I sighed happily, "She's perfect."

I scanned the coffee shop in search of a familiar face for no particular reason.

"Whoa." Calum breathed out.

"What?" Michael asked.

Calum pointed at a table which a girl with chocolate brown hair sat at. A random guy sat opposite her, I couldn't see his features as his back was facing us and he wore a hoodie.

"She's really pretty." Calum sighed.

"Back off dude, I'm pretty sure that's her boyfriend she's with." I laughed at the smitten boy.

"You never know, that could be her brother or friend." Calum mumbled.

The guy stood up and walked over to the male toilets. "I'm going over there." Calum stood.

"Seriously, don't do that. I'm very sure that was her boyfriend or something, she kept giggling."

Calum ignored Michael's protests as he made his way over to her. We could faintly hear what he was saying as the table wasn't too far from ours.

"Hey there." Calum smirked at the poor girl, she looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there at the point.

"Hi." She spoke.

"I noticed you over here from my table and I couldn't help but think that if I didn't talk to you it would have been a opportunity gone to waste." Calum sat on the chair the guy was previously sat on.

She shifted awkwardly in her seat, "I'm sorry, I'm not interested. I'm sort of here with someone."

I snickered to myself, Michael and I warned him.

Before Calum had a chance to reply, the guy comes out from the toilets and walks over to his table, pulling down his hoodie in the process. "Ready to go Hal- Calum?"

"Ashton?"
