Skylar's POV
"I don't think I can do this." I muttered over and over again as I stared at myself in the mirror.
"You can, and you will." Natalie told me, smiling.
Liz walked into the room, gaping at me.
"You look so gorgeous!" She hugged me as she started crying, seeing me in my wedding dress.
I'm supposed to walk down the aisle in five minutes and I'm freaking out.
"Liz, I'm not sure if I can do this." I whispered, my voice cracking.
"You love him, right?"
"More than anything."
"Then you can, he loves you and little Dylan so much." She smiled.
Dylan is our gorgeous baby boy, I gave birth to him not too long after Luke proposed to me. That was two years ago, the time has gone by so fast.
Suddenly, I came to my senses. Why did I even doubt this whole wedding?
"I'm ready." I smiled.
I picked up my bouquet of flowers and smiled at Natalie and Will.
They walked down the aisle first, hand in hand. With Dylan in front of them growing petals, very cliche I know. It was Luke's idea.
After Natalie and Will, Michael and Calum walked after them.
With Ashton and his girlfriend of a few years now, Hayley, following close behind.
"It's your turn." Liz smiled at me.
Andrew walked into the room, tears in his eyes. "Ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be." I smiled, liking arms with Andrew.
Since I didn't have my dad in my life anymore, Andrew insisted on walking me down. He was like my actual dad.
We both walked down the aisle as I scanned the room, my eyes landing on Luke. He was staring back at me, crying and smiling.
Andrew let me go and I walked to the center, next to Luke.
'I love you' He mouthed.
'And I love you' I mouthed back.
The pastor walked on and smiled at us, clearing his throat. "We are gathered here today, on this happy and joyous occasion, to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony." He started.
"Marriage is a solemn institution to be held in honor by all, it is the cornerstone of the family and of the community. It requires of those who undertake it a complete and unreserved giving of one's self. It is not to be entered into lightly, as marriage is a sincere and mutual commitment to love one another. This commitment symbolizes the intimate sharing of two lives and still enhances the individuality of each of you." He continued into his speech.
"Luke, do you take Skylar to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to her as long as you both shall live?"
Luke looked me straight in the eyes, "I do."
I smiled, on the verge of crying.
"Skylar, do you take Luke to be your wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to him as long as you both shall live?"
"I do." I bit my lip.
The pastor smiled, "You may now kiss the bride."
Luke didn't waste a second as he cupped my face and brought his lips to mine in a passionate kiss.
"I love you, Skylar Marie Hemmings." He whispered against my lips.
"I love you, Luke Robert Hemmings" I grinned.
