"Sensei?" I asked, coming into his bedroom where he's meditating. "I have something to tell you."
Sensei's eyes pop open. "You and Jay are dating?!?" He asked excitedly.
"What? No! Of course not!"
Sensei's excitement deflated. "Oh, phooey."
I cross my arms. "Not all women need a man," I say. "But here's what I really came to tell you..."
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart.
"Lloyd'snotthegreenninja," I blurt out in a rush.
Sensei chuckles. "I already knew that."
"You—what?"
"You're the green ninja. I've known this for some time now, I just didn't know if you figured it out or not."
"Well, yes, I figured it out. But what do I do? Lloyd seems like the more logical choice!"
"That's right. He seems that way. But the truth is, he won't be able to defeat his father, because he's got too big of a heart."
"Then why me? I'm a samurai! Not a ninja."
Sensei sighs. "Did I ever tell you that your parents were elemental masters?"
"Yeah, I already know my father—wait. Both of them?"
"Yes. While your father could control fire, your mother was the master of water... and her abilities have been passed down to you."
"Whoa, slow down old man. So not only am I destined to be the green ninja, I'm also the ninja of water?"
Sensei nods.
"Holy sh*t."
