———-Nya's POV————-Everyone starts battling the stone warriors that barge into the temple. Everyone is really excited about having their elemental blades, and they're all using them to their fullest capability.
I don't have a new weapon, but if Misako is right, then the Temple of Light should have strengthened my powers. I hold my hands out in front of me, and focus on creating a sphere of energy. Instead of giving off a green hue, the orb glows a golden colour.
The others watch in amazement as I let the sphere grow. The stone warriors look a little concerned, which they should be; once there's enough power out in the open, I release my hold on the sphere, and the energy bursts towards them. The blast sends them shooting backwards, and as we approach them, they don't get up.
"Are the dead?" Jay asks.
"Doesn't matter," I say, making a run for it. "We need to get out of here."
—————-y/n's POV————-
Lloyd and I run around the mountain in hopes that we'll run into the rest of the ninja. We make it to the other side in record time.
"Wait, listen," I say suddenly. "I don't hear the stone army anymore."
"Maybe they retreated?"
"Possibly," I mutter, but then I notice the team running out of the temple of light. "Look! There they are!"
We watch them as the five of them make their way down the mountain hastily. Once they get closer to the bottom, they notice us waiting there.
"Y/n! Lloyd! You're okay!" Cole cries.
"Where the hell did you to go?!" Kai demands. "We were so worried about you!"
I raise an eyebrow. Kai? Worried about us?
"Well, uh, I mean... I was only a little concerned. Nya was freaking out."
"I was not!"
"Not important!" Zane interrupts. "The stone warriors could wake up any minute now! We have to get back to the bounty."
——————time skip (I'm lazy) —————-
Once we're back on the ship, we immediately start discussing our next move. We come to the decision that we need to find the Helm of Shadows and place it back on the clock counting down to the final battle. Or at least, that's what Misako says we need to do.
As soon as we have a plan in place, we put it into action. Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane are to dress up as stone warriors and bring Misako to Garmadon as a prisoner. Then, she can get him to let his guard down long enough so that she can take the Helm of Shadows.
"What can we do?" Lloyd and I ask.
"You're both going to sit here and keep watch with me and Nya," Sensei says.
"Dang it," I mutter. I want to be more useful.
After the other ninja leave, I suddenly remember the chest we found in the cave. I motion for Lloyd to give it to Sensei.
"What's this?" He asks.
"We found it inside the mountain," I explain. "We have no idea how to open it."
Sensei studies the container for a while. "Hmm... there's something written here in an ancient language."
"Can you read it?" Nya asks.
"No, but I'm sure Misako has a scroll with a translation key around here somewhere."
Once we've got the scroll, Sensei's able to tell us what it says.
"From what I gather, only an elemental of darkness can unlock it," he says. "So, Garmadon himself, perhaps."
"Oh," I mumble, feeling defeated. "I guess we can't open it then."
Sensei strokes his beard, and looks over at Lloyd. "Well... I wouldn't be to sure about that."
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, never mind. An answer will present itself when the time comes."
——————-Jay's POV—————-
"Bequeath? What does that even mean?" I ask as the gates open into the stone army's base. Misako has just said something, but that word is all I can think about.
"Shut up, numbskull!" Cole orders, hitting my arm.
My teammates and I do our best to play the part of stone warriors using the armour we brought down from our fight on the mountain. Although, one of the generals doesn't look convinced. He walks up to us and starts talking in some strange language, as if he's asking a question.
"Uh, ooga boogaloo?" Cole says.
"Pit pat patty whack?" Kai adds.
"Tick tock tick tock!" Zane says.
"Bequeath bequeath bequeath!!" I yell, doing something that probably looks like the chicken dance.
The others stare at me in confusion.
"What?" I question with a shrug. "It's a funny word!"
"I've got the helm! Let's go!" Misako says, running towards us. Thank goodness it's time to leave, because I think the general is pretty suspicious.
The five of us run back to base, knocking out any warriors that come after us. I activate the communicator in my mask to let Sensei know we're coming back.
"Were you spotted?" He asks.
"No, Sensei, we're the best ninja you've ever trained!" I chime in sarcastically. "Of course we were spotted!!"

Sorry, I know that was a short chapter. I'm kinda just following the plot of the show at this point, with minor changes where my memory fails me. I hope I haven't messed anything up too badly...
