Chapter 31: Home sweet Home.

"Baby girl" "Princess" I hear a faint calling. "Baby girl... hey Princess wake up. We landed. Everyone is excited to see you." I hear Eddie's voice. "The babies miss their Mama." Shane adds. With that I wake. "I'm sorry when did I fall asleep?" I ask looking around. "You fell asleep shortly after eating Princess." Eddie said. "Well you are a comfy teddy." I say smiling. Everyone laughs lightheartedly. "Let's go home baby." Eddie says as he picks me up and carries me out of the plane and into the car.

The drive home was quick and yet it felt like forever. Finally pulling up in front of the house I felt like the world was lifted of my shoulders. I felt free and safe. I felt loved and cared for.

The front door opens and Theo runs out and into my arms. I hug him so tight afraid to let go for fear that this isn't real and I'll wake up back in that hell. Tears run down my face and I now feel a lot of hands wrapping me like a blanket on a cold winters day. I look up and see everyone. My family and extended family. Even Edwin's men brought their family to celebrate me being back home.

"We wanted to make sure you know how much you are loved so we through you a party but we all understand if you are not up to it." said Alister one of Edwin's men. More tears roll down soaking my face, neck, and shirt. "Yes of course I would love a party to visit with everyone. I have missed you all. It's so good to be home with my family. You are all my family." I say as I go around hugging everyone.

The rest of the night consisted of all of us laughing and caring on. Everyone being together showing how much of a family unit we truly are. Currently I'm sitting with some of the wives of the men, Patrick, and my mother in law  as I hold my beautiful daughter in my arms and watch my son run with the other kids. I wish I could freeze time right now because right now is perfect. The seat next to me moves and I look up. There sitting next to me is my dear Emma. She sits and stares for awhile. "Emma what's wron...." she cuts me off by wrapping me into a big hug. "Don't ever leave me again. There are a few things I can't live without in this world like chocolate and my Jerry Springer reruns. You are also on that list. So don't think of leaving me again got it?" she cries on my shoulder. "Yes, I'm sorry Emma. I'll never leave you again okay." I say.

"Good cause next time I'm cutting your tits off." she replies as she wipes her tears away. "Where is Jack he needs to be with you when your this emotional." I tell her. "He is in Edwin's Office with the rest of the guys working on a battle strategy." she says. "Battle strategy for what?" I ask. "To kill Alessandro of course. I mean he deserves it." she says. "Wait he is still alive? Oh my god." I begin to panic. She tires to calm me but I tell her to watch Athena and Theo instead because I need to speak to Edwin.

Walking to the office I see that the door is slightly open and I can hear their voices. "We last tracked him heading towards Vernazza,  Italy from there we lost him. We believe he chartered a boat to escape." a unfamiliar voice said. "I haven't gotten a signal on him at all. I have tapped into all of the phones he frequently calls of his men and business I've come up short. Jack and I have also frozen all his accounts so he has no money flowing. His men are turning on him one by one." Shane's voice rang out. "He has to be getting money from somewhere. We just are not sure where." Jack spoke. "Keep his accounts seized. Lock down all of his property and assets. Close in on his business. Watch all of his major investor's. I believe it's one of them helping him. Watch their accounts as well for any suspicious transactions. We jump at anything that looks remotely questionable. In the mean time we are on lock down until he is caught. I want his wife moved to the estate with Dom. I want our floor ready for us to occupy. My  three parents and my cousin and her family along with Jack, Emma, Shane and Abigail and our family will be moving in tonight. The Estate is made to look like a large castle but is really an enormous fortress with state of the art security not only within it's wall but the vast land surrounding it. It only makes sense to have everyone there until the threat is eliminated. We are at war gentleman. We got our Queen back but the enemy will stop at nothing to take her. We will not let that happen. Not another family member will be harmed. Do I make myself clear?" Edwin spoke with such dominance that a shiver ran down my spine. "YES SIR." they all said in unison.

'My god when will it end.' I thought as terror once again seeped into my soul.
