Friends !!

Continuing from previous part

Anushka fell on Prabhas who caught her on time before she fell down on concrete road , for a moment anushka got lost in his dark black innocent eyes and her heartbeat fasten feeling his hands protectively encircled her upper body  and his slightly worried expressions like screaming her to be careful enough to walk on road accompanied with worry that is  she  okay! After like six months she felt someone's protectiveness towards herself apart from anju. Prabhas help her stand straight and ask in warm voice " are you okay Anushka?"  she nodded slowly picking her bag from the road but when she pick it and look at him she ask " how do you know my name?" Prabhas again pass a small warm smile and say " you told me yesterday"  but Anu frown argue again " no .. you only told me your name Prabhas but I didn't" he say " you told me in rush when you got a call and then you left you probably forgot it cause after that you rushed away , I thought you got some emergency so I don't call out for you but look what a pleasant surprise it is I again saw you five minutes ago" Anu thought for a second still not remembering telling him her name but she let it go and shoot next question while slightly dusting off her bag " so what are you doing here ? Stalking me or bumping into people is your hobby?"  Prabhas arched his left eyebrow and say with boyish smile " well I live here neighbour" . Anu look at him with wide open mouth and ask not really believing " you live here? But I never really saw you here before!"  He reply " cause from 10 years I'm studying in Bangalore , get job there and an rented apartment while my parents shift to Indore but I got back one months back so that's why not many people here know me besides people here look at me little weirdly you know why ?"  anu give back a small  forced smile and say " yeah people in this society are kind of lost in their own world and not really talk with each other regularly as they believe in minding their own work so welcome to our dull neighbourhood" he chuckled and say " hmm but I really hope you are not like others I mean it's kind of weird when people not ask you about from where you are ? Rented or your own house etc like questions in neighbourhood at least I'm not habitual of silent kind of places"  Anu nods in understanding and ask " so your house number?"  He look at houses and say " 13 house number 13" , anu look at house number 13 and say with confused expression " but that house belongs to Gupta uncle !"  but he immediately say " actually I buy it from them as they go to U.S. to live with their son and daughter in law, ten years ago too this house belongs to my parents but they sell it to Gupta ji and again it comes to me" . 

She look at him trying to believe his words but don't know why she couldn't find his saying true but again she couldn't understand nor able to believe anything these days , she nodded to him and say like kind of shrugging him off " it's nice meeting you again Prabhas hope you find some friends here "  ready to excuse herself living him on road but he said  " ahhhh not you too " ..

She frown asking " excuse me ! What you mean by that ?"

Prabhas sigh and say " I mean just like others you are ignoring me too , I thought you and I might become friends but I guess I expected much from people . Sorry for reacting like this bye "  he walk pass her going towards his house .

Anushka look at him releasing a disappointed sigh thinking to stop him saying that she'll be his friend but is she ready for it !!
She start going towards her college trying to distracting her mind ..

At college :-

Anushka completes her third lecture of day and now to relax her mind she's sitting in library . From morning she is feeling too sleepy and tried because of all the crying /self hating last night she is fed up from these insults every day, so somewhere in her heart she accept her defeat wanting this marriage to happen soon at least after marriage no one will emotionally torture her . She trying to focus on the book she reading but her eyelids felt so heavy to her that she couldn't keep it open.  She take a deep breath clinging her back to chair fully close her eyes and she fell in sleep ...

Anushka woke up maybe after an hour rubbing her eyes to get ride of dizziness, she close the book in front of her when she saw a small girl standing near second book shelf looking directly at her . Anushka felt odd like come on what a nine or ten year old girl possibly doing in this college ?  She voiced out her thoughts asking to little girl " hi what are you doing here ? How you come in this library?"

That little girl say in tiny voice " I was playing near washroom waiting for my mama but then I saw her coming this way so I followed her , could you help me to reach my mama !" .

Anushka thought hearing her that she must be kid of one of cleaning staff here so she stood up to reach her . She ask the girl again " does your mama bring you to college daily ?"
To which the girl nodded in no and both of them heard some noise , maybe this girl's mom cleaning library so she must be in this room only ., thinking this Anushka take steps towards the corner shelf near wall to check and the sound is getting clear with each step .

Anushka spots a lady standing facing wall wearing white saree and by this side it's looks she has something in her hands , Anu call her out saying " aunty your little girl searching you , here she is" the lady turn around to face Anu and she got shock seeing her .

The lady in front of her has a half burnt face with big completely dark eyes, she is holding a dead fetus in her hands covered in blood which that lady is eating while tears coming out of her eyes saying to Anu in ghostly voice  " I lost my babies to it , i lost them . Soon you'll be next to be taken they burn you like me" . Anushka in fear take her steps back in attempt to get away from this ghost lady and that ghost throw that half eaten fetus on her which hit her face causing her face to cover in blood . Anushka scream in fear and disgust just then she feel someone tapping on her shoulder and she open her eyes to see librarian standing beside her saying " you shouldn't be sleeping in library if you read this book then put it back in shelf , it's been one hour reading time is over go to your class" .
Anushka look around releasing what she saw seconds ago was again one of those scary dreams. She put book back getting out of library to get some fresh air so that her mind calm ...
