"Can we talk now or what?" Erin asked staring at Ro who sat in a chair across his bedroom. Upon seeing her he quickly stood up.

"Yo, you can't be coming in here like this." He said lowly. "You want us to get busted? If Ace saw you in here—"

"He'd think we were having a brother and sister conversation since he said I can come to y'all about anything." She frowned before her face softened and she placed her hands on each side of her face looking as if she'd cry any minute.

He wanted to step forward and hold her but his door was open and he didn't want to give it away that something had been going on between them. Sure he could've said that he was just comforting her as her "brother" but he didn't want to take that chance.

"What's wrong?" He reached out to grab her but put his hands back down by his side. "You can tell me anything. You know that right?"

"What if I'm the one who needs you to tell me anything?" She questioned.

"What you talk—"

"Why are you lying to me?" She said angrily as her eyes watered.

For two weeks now she'd been wondering where he'd gone on the night of the dinner party. She'd been questioning him about it and he'd just been giving her lies but she refused to turn a blind eye to the things he said that didn't sound right. Just like Bianca, she was learning to speak up more. She was learning to stop letting men take her as a fool. Her feelings for him were strong but that didn't take away from what she needed from him and that was honesty. She needed someone right now especially since Bianca hadn't said much to her since she'd gotten back from the trip. Erin had told Ace something she'd confided in her about. She'd told Ace when Bianca had said she'd do it herself. It would've been understandable if Bianca had chosen to get the abortion and not ever speak to him about it but that wasn't the case. Just like Bianca would be honest and tell Erin she'd go to Ace about things she thought he should know, Bianca felt like Erin could've at least been honest and let her know that she'd do the same so she could be prepared for Ace coming to question her about it.
