• session two | Harley
"Hello again, Mister J."
The metal doors was heard to get back in lock as the sounds of her heels clings to the ground as she walked towards the same metal table and chairs, the other side of the table was Joker sitting down with a smile on his face.
"I missed ya, Harley." The name Harley got her shivering. For some reason, whenever the Joker speaks or just opens his mouth, it sent shivers down on her spine.
In a bad way.
"Please don't call me that." Harleen sighs as she pulls the metal chair backward and sat on it, being in the same position she was as yesterday's session.
Joker then grins widely, seeming to enjoy how she reacts to his everything he does and says. "Call you what, doctor?" He dragged, "Harley?"
"Yes, so please stop." She hates being called that, especially when he calls her.
"Fine, fine, fine." He grunts, his head rotating slowly, before his eyes landed back again to the doctor upon him.
Harleen then placed down the recorder, and pressed play. She wasn't able to record the first session with him yesterday, and now, she didn't just forgot about it.
Joker watched Harleen as she pressed the button at the bottom left corner of the square recorder device. And then his eyes landed back to her, being used to that same device after months in the Asylum.
"Yesterday, we haven't had a proper session." She spoke in profession. Giving him a small smile before looking down to her notepad that is rested on her lap. "So, tell me what you feel at this very moment, Mister J."
Joker then leaned forward, his still wrapped arms now rested on the metal table as he didn't got that close much to the female. "I feel funny." He spoke as a laugh followed a long, "Oh, I love how I feel today, doctor!" He shouted as if he was in joy. But the two of them know he isn't. "Do you know why, hm?" He smirked before he moved closer to her. "Because the fire inside me tells me to burn this goddamn Asylum down to ashes." He whispers, small growls escapes his lips before he began laughing maniacally. "The urge to break these fucking walls down and jump off this very building away!" He added more, and as expected, more laughs followed.
"Why?"
The clown then turned back his look to the female who had looked back up from her notepad, after taking notes of what he said and expressed. "Because I'm Joker." He smiles, "I just love to give a good show and bring laughter and sorrow to humanity." He cackles and leaned back to his chair.
She wrote it down, wrote it all down on her paper. Give a good show and laughter and sorrow.
What a merciless man.
"You're a crazy man." Harleen replies as she looks at him, her eyes looking straight back at his icy blue ones.
Joker then shook his head rapidly, "Oh no, honey." He spoke before leaning forward again to the female who spoke towards him."I'm just really, really mad."
That answers it. He isn't crazy, he isn't a psychopath. He's mad. Really mad. And Harleen wants to know why. Why he acts like this, why he did so much, why he was mad. It's now her goal to go through his whole self, before finding a perfect cure, an antidote that will bring him back to normal. To bring him back. But would that even possible? Taming and curing the King of Gotham City? The Mad Man of the Crimes? Batman's undefeatable nemesis? The smart Clown? The Joker?
"No words, Miss Harley?" Joker smirked, interrupting Harleen from her deep thoughts.
"No." She professionally replies, controlling her shaky voice. "And please," she sighs in irritation.
"Don't call me Harley."
