• chapter ten | Batsy

I sat there on the couch with a big pout on my face, staring towards the blank television screen. My cheek resting on my palm as I tapped my fingers in boredom.

Puddin's out because the Bat ruined one of his bombs that is planted in the center of Gotham. In other words, he left me right after he apologized for snapping at me earlier this morning.

I let out a long sigh and laid down on the couch, "Maybe I should invite Ivy over." I said to myself as I looked up the ceiling, seeing tons of knives sticking up to it. I always through one kife up the ceiling of the living room, to remind me and Puddin' how many days we get bored.

"Puddin' might kill Ivy when he sees her here.." I sighed, then I began whining, "I miss him.." I said, spinning around the couch while whining like a baby.

I thought of something, something that would relieve me from all this boredom, to distract me from missing puddin'.

"Maybe I should prepare him a romantic dinner." I smiled at the thought, since me being in all effort and focus makes me distracted. I shot back up from the couch and skipped my way to the kitchen, "Surely he would be frustrated and hungry, I might as well brighten him up." I giggled, just by picturing him walk in the house with a tired and angry look, and that frown would turn upside down once I prepare him dinner. And would be a perfect idea since he rarely eats lunch with me.

I opened the fridge to see what was available for me to cook, and good thing I saw ground meat in the freezer, I remembered Joker never leaves the fridge empty since cooking is one of my favorite things to do. I smiled in joy as I took the meat and a few green veggies out.

I placed it down on the kitchen counter and walked back to the covers and opened one of the drawers and took out a bag of flour, salt, baking soda. I walked back to the fridge and got the tray of dozens of fresh eggs. I laid all down on the counter and took a bowl, a whisk, measuring spoon and cup and a cutter.

I was making Spaghetti N' meatballs from scratch. Wanting it to be my own recipe, how Puddin' likes it.

-

In the middle of my cooking, my hair completely in a messy bun, my green apron in a mess. My phone began ringing, at the side of the counter, I turned my look from the meatballs I was cooking to finish off the spaghetti. "Puddin'?" I wondered when I saw his contact photo of me and him, and his caller I.D. titled as Puddin'.

I wiped my soaked hands on the apron and picked up the phone, wondering why would he call me. "Puddin'?" I answered the call as fast as I could, with a big smile on my face. "What time will you be home?" I asked, biting my bottom lip while playing with the strands of my hair. Waiting for his response.

"I'm not Joker." The unfamiliar, deep voice replied from the other line. I widened my eyes, confused to who it was, was it one of his henchmen?

"Who the hell are ya?" I spat out, "Where's Puddin'!" I shouted att he phone.

"Calm down, I don't have your puddin'." He replies, "I fought with him earlier, and dropped his phone."

"Then, who are ya?"

"Batman."

Oh my god. Batsy now knows me at that moment.

"You must be Joker's side kick." He spoke through the phone, making me fuse because of the wgord side kick.

I am not like his side kick, Robin!

I then scoffed, "I am not his side kick!" I barked, and laughed right after, "I am Harley Quinn! His one and only girlfriend!" I giggled before hanging up the phone.

"Man, it feels good to get to know Batsy!" I giggled and placed down my phone on the counter.

And in an instant, I then gasped when I smelled something burning, "Oh no! The meatballs!"
