Aphmau's POV

"Hey Aph, imma go to the store to buy somethings for our karaoke night tonight, wanna come?" Katelyn stood at my bedroom door.

"Sure, j-just a minute." I reply, not looking away from my notebook.

"Watcha doin?" Katelyn walked up to my bed.

"It's nothing.." I mumbled, closing the notebook.

Katelyn raised her eyebrow in curiosity.

"C'mon, lemme see it!" Katelyn grabbed the notebook which made me panic.

"Don't open it!-" I panicked.

Katelyn was smirking as she read it, but soon that smirk had faded.

"Aph...you're actually doing it...and tonight?" Katelyn furrowed her eyebrows in concern.

"Y-yeah..." I nodded my head shyly.

"I'll help you, don't worry. I won't tell anyone about this, okay?" Katelyn closed the notebook and put it down.

"Thank you Katelyn." I hug her as she hugs back.

"It's no problem." She chuckled as she pulled away. "Now, let's go get those groceries and I can give you suggestions on the way! Got it?" Katelyn put her hands on her hips.

"Let's go!"

"So...what are you thinking? Like what genre, and all that stuff." Katelyn questioned as she pushed the cart.

"I'm going for slow and calming, but also gets the message across." I reply, grabbing items as we go.

"Hmm...I think I've got an idea. Let's keep brainstorming then I'll play some songs for you in the car, then you can decide okay?" Katelyn goes into the party stuff aisle.

I nod.

We grab a few more things then head out, paying before doing so of course. We loaded everything in the car and got settled in.

"Okay, I made a playlist of a couple songs you might like. Just listen to them first then decide when we get back." Katelyn said as she connected her phone to the Bluetooth Audio setting. Soft music is heard all throughout the car, I start tapping my feet lightly to the beat.

Once we arrived on our driveway the last song on the playlist was about to end, and once it did we started to get out of the car. I took off my seatbelt and just when I was about to step out, more music was heard. Katelyn was about to turn off the engine, though.

"No! Wait!" I told her as I carefully listened to the music.

It was smooth, it was calming, but most importantly, it was perfect. As the last note played throughout the car, I turn to Katelyn.

"I think we have a winner."
