"Garroth...!?" I exclaim.

Laurence stands there in shock, shaking but gripping onto Garroth's wrist tighter.

"Let go of me..!" Garroth growled, beginning to try to yank his wrist out of Laurence's grip.

"Why..." Laurence started tearing up.

"Why did you leave Garroth...?" Regret can be seen on Garroth's face, but manages to keep a straight face.

"Let go." He looks down to the ground.

"No..I'm not letting you go! I'm not going to let you leave me behind again!" Laurence gripped Garroth tighter.

I clench the book in my hand, still trying to process the fact that Garroth is here, right in front of me.

"Garroth, let's go, we already got found out." Ryder tries to get Garroth out of Laurence's grip.

"What do you think I'm doing!?" Garroth whisper yells.

"You...you just had to show up, right now?" I clench the book as everyone's attention is drawn to me.

"You have the audacity to show up, right in front of my face, and once we find you out you try to escape? If you have something to say to us, say it to our faces. Unless you're that much of a coward, no wonder you ran away."

"You little-" Garroth growls.

"You were too embarrassed by the fact that I dumped you, and in front of the whole street too. That wouldn't have happened if you didn't start snapping at every little thing! I hang out with Aaron, you snap. I call you out ONCE, you slap me. What the actual hell?! I did my best in that relationship," I walk up to him.

"I don't know what you were doing." I then kick him in the stomach.

"Let's go Laurence." I still had all that adrenaline pumping, so I was somehow able to pull him out of his tight grip on Garroth.

I check out the book as quickly as possible, and headed out the door.

"What the hell was that!?" Laurence yelled at me.

"What do you mean "what was that" ?! I got us out before any of us got hurt!"

"You kicked Garroth! Plus, I could've handled it myself if I did get hurt! Do you think I'm that irresponsible?"

"No! I don't think that! I just don't want anything else to happen because of him!"

"I'm going back. I'm going to get him. I'm not letting him go again." Laurence says, storming back into the library.

I glare at him as he goes back in, and as if we were in a movie, it started to rain again. I sighed, taking off my backpack and putting the book in. I pulled out my umbrella and opened it up. I hold my backpack by hand as I slowly walk through the rain. I missed my bus because of that encounter, so I was in the rain for around an hour.

I felt my phone buzzing a few times, but I only ignored them. I was too busy thinking.

"At least...I didn't fight with Aaron...he helps through my hardships, so if I had one with him I'd have no way to fix it. I do have Katelyn, Nana, and the others though...but Aaron's comfort just, hits different. I could really use that comfort right now.." I smile lightly at the thought of him, but I then hear a voice in the distance.

"Aph! Where are you?!" I hear someone call out. It's probably all in my head, I'm hallucinating, right?

I see a figure in the distance, looking left and right frantically. I couldn't see their face, as they were too far away. I'm pretty sure we make eye contact, he stands frozen for a second. They're now running towards me.
