•Chapter 18•

Katelyn's POV

I set down a ton of bags of chips on the main table, while Aph puts down some guac.

"Okay! I think that's all done. We just need to get down some mattresses, pillows, and blankets, so we can put on our PJ's after." I say as I wipe some sweat from my forehead.

Aph nods and runs up the stairs, then coming down with a huge mattress.

"A little help here would be nice..!" Aphmau said as she struggled to bring the mattress down.

"O-oh! Sorry." I apologized.

As Aph succeeded to bring the mattress down the first set of stairs, I met her at the last set.

"You know what I'm thinking." Aph smirked.

"Heck ya, I do." I smirked back.

We both tried to get onto the mattress without it falling down, then Nana came down the stairs.

"Hey! Wait for meee!" Nana complained as she got on with us.

"Okay...5.." I started.

"4..."

"3..."

"2..."

"1..."

"GO!"

We pushed the mattress and we rode down the stairs on it, like tobogganing. As soon as we hit the wall, we burst out in laughter.

Soon enough, we get off and put the mattress down in the living room. We get 1 more mattress down along with a few pillows and blankets. We then set up the speakers and microphones, we all sigh in relief as we plop onto the mattresses.

"Finally...done.." Nana panted.

"Well, there's only two things left to do. Get dressed in our pj's, then just wait for everyone." Aph stood up. "I'm gonna get dressed now, be right back!" She said as she ran up.

"Guess we should as well." Nana said, and she starts walking up the stairs as I follow her.

I arrive to my room, and pick out my white One-D tank top along with dark blue sweatpants. I put my hair up in a messy ponytail and head down the stairs to see Aph waiting.

"Hey Aph."

"GAH! H-hey Katelyn!" She yells seeming startled.

"S-sorry, did I scare ya?"

"J-just a bit." She stuttered. "But I'm fine!"

"Aph, are you sure? You seem on edge a bit." I cross my arms.

"Well uh, I'm just nervous I guess..like, I'm actually gonna do it..." She rubbed her arm.

"No need to be nervous Aphmau. Just act like yourself, I know you like to be badass and sassy. Plus, you're leaving to visit your mum for a few days right after! So it should be fine!" I said, as I sat beside her. She looked a bit more nervous and was fiddling with her hands.

C'mon Katelyn, do something quick!

"H-hey, I know it's hard to do these types of things...especially to someone you've loved for a long time. But, if someone acts a certain way that you feel uncomfortable with, talk about it. And I know you have been trying to, but it always ended up as an argument. I'm proud you're finally standing your ground and standing up to them, but you have to be sure you want this." I say, as I place my hand on hers.

"I really don't want to do this, Katelyn. I love him so much, but he isn't who he was before..He's not the person I fell in love with, and it's sad to say that it looks like I can't bring the old him back. I don't know what happened to the person I knew a few months ago. Plus, I found out Laurence likes him. I'm worried about what will happen if he confesses but, this is for my well being. So in conclusion, I'm sure. I'm sure I want to do this Katelyn."

"Now that's my confident, sassy, short sister." I chuckle as I mess up her hair.

"Hey!" Aphmau yelled flustered.

The doorbell rings breaking the silence, and Nana rushes down and opens it before me and Aph get to.

"Hey girls!!" Lucinda greeted as she came in along with Nicole.

"Welcome girls! Get comfortable and feel free to eat some of the snacks, but save some for when the guys get here!" Nana said.

"Hey guys, we should do a song or two before the guys get here! C'mon, quick!" Nicole said.

I turn on the T.V. and head over to YouTube, then turn to the girls. "What song guys?" I questioned.

"I-I don't think I wanna do this one, guys." Aph nervously said.

"What??? No girl, you gonna do it. You have one of the greatest voices out of all of us." Lucinda tried to convince her.

"I'm not sure..."

"Aph, it's literally called karaoke night! You do karaoke! C'mon!!" Lucinda begs.

"Umm..."

"Something Disney related! Maybe a T.V. show classic from there..." Nana suggested out of nowhere.

"YES!" Aph exclaimed.

"Oh, now you're convinced?" I smirk as I type in Disney Channel karaoke.

"How about this one?" I turn to them.

"YESS!!" Aph cheers.

I chuckle as I press onto the video while Nana quickly passes out mic's.

The music starts, and Aph starts off the song.

Has anyone ever gotten the feeling where half of their brain I saying that it's too lazy to write but the other half of your mind is bored af so it proceeds to do so anyway?

Ok all questions aside, I have a (sort of) announcement!

I (might) be making another bookkk yayyyy(?????) Leave your guys's suggestions, I want to know what y'all want me to write! (Aphmau related of course) But it doesn't just have to be MyStreet, it could be My Inner Demons, Mermaid Tales, Heart Point, etc! (Not really mcd, I didn't really watch a lot of it) It could also be like this book, where I'm gonna put more characters from other series. Or like a police AU, doctor AU, Twilight AU...etc. Anything! Just leave your suggestionsss:))

And sorry I haven't been postin that much, cause I usually post very few days so it feels kinda weird. To be honest, I've been way less active on Wattpad than before. So, next week I'm going to try to write more.
