How beautiful it is,
To love and to give.
To know that my love is his,
Never questioning 'what if'.
The long years I spent,
Craving and demanding.
Not knowing what love meant,
How it was all about giving.
With you I finally know,
How love fulfills the soul.
Just like the river's flow,
You fill my heart whole.
I'm thankful that it's you,
The one I give my all to.
I promise I'll be true,
Just for a future with you.
Love is all about giving, and you can only truly love others, if you love yourself first.
