And when I say I love you,
I'm describing this feeling,
Words can't ever do justice for.
We're stamped with the label 'friends',
But to me you're so much more,
You are my soulmate,
Even if maybe I'm not yours.
Please don't deny it,
What we once had.
Because it only grew stronger,
The moment you left.
Please don't deny it,
The love we used to fight for.
Because we never lost the battle,
And did we ever stop?
But today,
I have to call you my friend.
And if it's the only way,
That I can have you,
Then it's okay.
