Meizuo gasped and tried to match his friend's cold stare with his glare but it was to no avail.
Ximen Yan. Ex-casanova. Human puppet of one called Jiang XiaoYu had completely decided to throw him away and be burnt in hell alone.
Fvck friendship. Obviously it's always boots before booze.
Cough.
The tallest member of F4 looked sadly at the young boy lying in Xiaoyu's arms. The Daoming heir's face was red and his small body shaking.
"Mama?" Fai asked, tightening his hold on his aunt's neck.
"They will be back on Monday, sweetie. Do you want auntie to make you hot choco?" She bargained but the boy simply shook his head in response.
"How did you not see him jumping in the pool?" Ximen asked in a low whisper.
"Hey," Meizuo started, a bit irritated. ", everything happened too fast. One second he was just pushing some leaves off the water then the next second he was IN the water."
His friend scoffed. "What's the use of having long legs?"
"You--"
"Sssh."
The two looked at Xiaoyu to know that it was not the petite woman who chastised them and quickly turned behind them to meet a familiar pair of light brown eyes.
"Lei, you're up?" Meizuo asked.
Lei raised an eyebrow and pushed the package in his arms higher, trying to make a point. "Do you really think this baby can tend to herself?"
"Oh." Meizuo nodded.
"Here. Hold her." Lei ordered as he handed the baby to Meizuo's arms. "Don't drop her." He warned.
"Of course, I won't! What do you take me for?!" Meizuo retorted in disbelief.
"The person who let Fai fall in the water." Lei replied nonchalantly,
Meizuo pouted and carried the baby away from the group. He will just stuck himself inside the nursery room and listen to nursery rhymes.
Fai crawled out of Xiaoyu's lap and raised his arms towards Lei.
The quiet man warmly received the young boy and cradled him close to his chest. "Did you enjoy the pool?"
