Happily Ever After?

Chapter 6

Prince Charming walked slowly around fairy godmothers cottage, he moved his hand to warn his knights to be on alert. Slowly he walked inside the cottage, one of the knights behind him gave a gasp.

Prince Charming looked behind his shoulder at the knight. Stupid dragon dung! He's gasping at a fake skull with pens in it. Rolling his eyes and looking forward, he slowly gazed around the cottage.

"Fan out and look in each room, I'll stay here and look around the living room." Charming spoke to his knights. They all murmured in agreement and went into different rooms.

Prince Charming looked around the living room and gagged. This reeks! He gave a sigh. For the king and queen..and my beloved. I will do whatever it takes.

Scanning the book shelf he put a hand to his mouth. Dragon toe nails, elf blood, unicorn bacon, dwaf bal-

"Your highness!" Prince Charming turned around to see a messenger gasping for air. "Stop! A letter!" He gave a last wheeze before passing on on the ground.

Prince Charming watched as the letter slowly fluttered down onto messengers head, before picking it up. Opening it and reading, his eyes widen and he turned around in fear.

"All if you stop at once!" All knights hurried out and looked at charming. "What is it?" One of them asked. "Did any of you find something?"

There were a few that exchanged a few glances and murmured among themselves. "Is that a yes!?" He demanded. One of them stepped forward. "W-well I did find this."

Charming took it out of his hand and looked at it "what is it?" The knight blinked. "Unwrap it." Charming unwrapped the paper. "This couldn't be right could it?"

"We're not really sure, but if it did indeed escape.." charming shook his head. "We have to get back at once and warn them about what is about to happen!"

A slow creek sounded behind them followed but a low quiet chuckle. "I'd like to see you escape from my cottage first" charming turned around in surprise, this plump fat lady worse a light brown cloak.

Charming searched his memories, then he remembered. It was the lady whose biscuit got stolen, fairy godmother.

Charming smirked "well well well, the very thing we were searching for is right in front of us" the knights stood in a line behind him, ready to take his side in battle.

She smiled. "Do you really think 5 knights can defeat me?" Fairy godmother gave a harsh cackle before giving a whistle.

Crashing through the cottage came the very same dragon that protected Fiona from her dungeon. Roaring and breathing all the fire it possibly could.

"Out! All of you out!" Charming yelled above the crackling. "We must get back to the palace!" Coughing he turned around to see fairy godmother was gone. The dragons huge feet smashing all the furniture around the room.

Knights ran out of the cottage, charming ran after them only to trip in front of the dragon. "Charming!" One of the knights yelled. "Keep going!" Charming yelled back. "Warn the king and queen!"

The knight hesitated. "If I don't survive someone has to tell them now go!" The knight nodded in surrender. "Please be careful" before turning and running off.

Charming pushed himself off the floor and ran towards the door, dragon swung its mighty tail and flung charming across the firey room. Coughing he groaned. "I certainly hope you weren't going to escape that easily charming." Fairy godmother laughed.

Prince Charming looked up at her in panic and she drew her wand up towards his face, dragon yelped and took off towards the skies. Flashing her wand at him, he felt the whole world go black and drifted off to sleep in the firey cottage.

He was awoken a while later by a stranger in a green hoodie leaning over him in the fire, coughing the person has a ferocious expression on their face.

Charming came too and shook his head coughing harshly. He then realised that the person was yelling at him. "Get up so I can help you out!" Charming shakily stood up then fell again.

The stranger gave a low hiss and dragged him to lean on their shoulder. Struggling they both hobbled towards the firey door, bits of wood fell beside them, the fire blazed more dangerous.

Struggling the stranger threw him out the window and landed beside him with a thud. Charming coughed and looked up to see a maroon horse gaze down at him sniffing.

"Ugh, get off you great lump!" Charming pushed the horses head away then studied it more closely. "Butters? What are you doing here?" A soft cough came from behind.

"She's with me" charming turned around and felt his heart beat. "Fiona? What in blue blazes are you doing here!?"
