Dear diary, it feels like thousands of years have passed since I was locked away in this castle..to think I was only six at the time..heh..I turn eighteen next month, will I ever get rescued?

Every couple of months a knight in shining armour comes to battle the wicked dragon to save me, none of them have succeeded. Yesterday was number 48, oh. Make that 49..

I wish I knew why someone locked me away in the first place..I was always a good kid and did everything that I could..guess I'm stuck in here with you again diary, another lame year together.

I miss mother and father..

For all she knew, all that was going to change in a couple of hours.

Fiona sighed as she put her diary down on her side table, "may as well dust my room for the thousandth time.." pulling out a feather duster out she started to dust around her small brick room. There wasn't a lot to dust, all she had in that room was a bed, a window that was high up from ground floor, a dresser and a table.

You're probably thinking why hasn't she tried to escape herself? Being locked in a room for years and no escape, she has tried everything to break out, but alas. Every time she has tried the door would never bust open, Dragon was always far down under her window so she may never escape.

After the dusting was good and done she sat on her bed and sighed as she looked out her window to the fiery death trap below. A wooden bridge swung in the distance, will I ever escape from this tower.. putting a hand on her cheek she watched the wooden bridge swing peacefully.

Dragons ferocious battle cry woke Fiona up from her slumber, she was still where she was when she was looking out of her tower. Standing up and leaning over the brick window  ledge she looked down to see Dragon in metal chains groaning. As much as the red headed princess hated the fire breathing monster, she felt sorry to see it wrapped around in chains.

Jumping at a thump at the wooden door on her brick tower she turned around to see the door shaking every time it was hit. What's going on!? A thump again and the door went flying to splinters, spitting dust everywhere.

Fiona covered her eyes from the dust and started coughing, waving a hand in front of her face to shoo the dust away. She came face to face with a tall metal suit, stifling a frightened gasp she took a step back.

"Fear not beautiful maiden, for I.." the metal suits arms lifted and slowly took off the helmet. Fiona felt her heart beat fast, shoulder length blonde straight hair, muscular body, beautiful soft eyes. She fell in love.

"..Prince Charming, have arrived to save you." The prince knelt down with his hand across his chest and head down. Fiona couldn't help but feel in awe, "I thank you brave knight for rescuing me from this stone imprisonment; and for saving me from the dragon below."

Dragon gave a snort in frustration as it tried to break free of the chain, thrashing its tail and legs trying to loosen the metal chains. Prince Charming stood up "What May i call you?"

Fiona twirled a loose hair from her head and blushed slightly. "I am Princess Fiona" the princes face lit up "Princess Fiona?! As in Princess Fiona from far far away castle!?" The red headed princess nodded embarrassingly. "Uh y-yes..?"

The blonde headed prince smiled with glee, "your parents will be thrilled for I have finally found you!" Dragon gave another roar and thrashed even hard sending a huge shake to the stone tower.
