Chapter 16

ALL THE WORDS IN MY HEART,
I CAN'T SHOW THEM ALL TO YOU,

Jin:

I told hyung everything. It's been long that I shared my emotions with anyone after my father. Grandma was old and sick, so I never bothered her with my life too. Sharing your pain does make it better. Hyung bought me my favourite strawberry ice cream after I cried on his shoulder. He still knows me in and out. This week was unbearable for me but thanks to hyung I'm feeling ok. He is making up stories to make me smile. He has always been like that. When we were kids he used to bring me along every time to play with his friends. I was shy I barely had friends. When his friends said they don't want me in their group because I was small, he fought with them saying that I'm his best friend. Thanks to him I was able to overcome my shyness back then.

I don't want to go back there. Hyung said I can stay with him if I'm not comfortable going back to taehyung's place. But I only agreed to this with a promise that he will let me cook for him in exchange.

Seojun:

We came back to my apartment. Jin is cooking dinner for us. I love this. I love that he is still so warm and beautiful as he was when I met him first when I was 8 and he was 4. He was a little shy but he soon opened up and started clinging onto me calling me 'hyung' all day. He always had a special place in my life. The day he disappeared after his father's death I thought that I lost my only best friend. But here we are, I met him again. But this time I met him only to see the sadness in his eyes. Seeing him hurt like this made me realize that he is more than just a friend to me. I haven't told him yet. But I'll. I want to take care of him, be his family and give him the happiness he deserves. The way taehyung is treating him is just unbelievable. He looked jealous of me the time I met jinnie and even acted like his boyfriend. 

But if he is letting go of a diamond, I'll not hesitate to keep it for myself. More than a romantic interest Jinnie is still my kiddo whom I have loved and protected all my life. And I'll do the same again.

So how was the dinner hyung? He asked with puppy eyes.
Jinnie, I knew you had an interest in cooking but when did you improve so much? The food was damn good.
I was preparing for cooking school in my last year of high school hyung. He smiled.
No wonder. My best friend is so talented. I ruffled his hair lightly and he blushed like a baby.
Jin... Now is the time. He is looking at me waiting for me to say something.
Yes, hyung?  He asked.
I like you. Yes. I like you Jin. He froze. 
Umm... hyung is this a prank? Are you making fun of me too? He spoke teary-eyed.

No. No. Jin it's not a joke I mean it. I get up from my chair raising his chin to look into his eyes. Every time he cries my heart breaks. I mean it jinnie. I want him to see the sincerity in my eyes.
Do you pity me? You feel bad for me that I'm poor? He again asked sobbing.

Oh God. Jin where do you get these ideas from. Look at me. Every word that I've said is true and from my heart. I like you. I tried to tell you these words that day but you said you have someone in your heart. But you are crying because of that someone. Even if you can't give yourself to me I want to confess. I am here for you waiting, loving you. I want you to know. He cried even harder with his head on my chest. What have you done Kim Taehyung?

Hyung. He spoke after crying for a good time.

Jinnie... you don't have to feel bad. And you don't have to give me an answer right now. I know you are hurt. I just wanted you to know that your hyung is here waiting for you. Whenever you feel like you can love me, I'll be here with my arms open for you. And most importantly we are best friends before my feelings. I don't want to guilt-trip him just because I have feelings for him.
Thank you hyungie. He said with head hanging down.

Aishh... you're still like your 4-year-old self. I pulled his cheeks teasing him and he finally smiled.
Let's go I'll show you your room. You are very tired and I have to wake up early too.

I woke up to get water for myself. As I went to the kitchen I saw a phone vibrating. I guess Jin left his phone here when he was cooking. Brat. I guess I know who that is. Before I could pick up the call cut. But he was calling once again.

-Hello? 

-Jin? Have you seen the time? Where the hell are you? He said on the other side. So it is him.

-Taehyung, it's Seojun. I said.

-I want to talk to seokjin. Give him the phone. *He is a brat.*

-Sorry, taehyung I can't, he is sleeping rn.

-What?

-Now that you called, listen to me carefully taehyung, I was going to wait for him until this arrangement of yours was over but I don't think I can wait anymore. I'm going to steal him from you. And stop whatever game you're playing with him. Jinnie is too precious for someone like you. With all the confidence I had in me I said. He went silent and I cut off the call. 

To my surprise, he didn't call back. So I went back to sleep.
