Jiminie, you know Soon Jae throws the Christmas party every year for all his family and friends. Ahh, can't believe that boring forever bachelor is my best friend. I used to be so popular with girls and boys back in my college days and then I met taehyung's grandma and she changed my life. Grandpa was telling me stories with a nostalgic smile on his face.

My parents were not much interested in my life. But she... was something else. I got caught and dean warned me. I hated her and was planning to bully her during my suspension of one week. But then she came to me like an angel. She told me that she wants to help me with my studies. We both were in business management. I accepted her offer with the intention of hurting her but she was too good. I fell in love. I told her I want to marry her when we graduated. She helped me with the business for a long time, gave birth to our only son. But then one day she left. Grandpa's face dropped with sadness.

After that Tae's parents died in a car accident. My honey bear cried for days and then I decided I'll always be a father to him not like how my father was to me or how I was to my son. But an actual father. But I feel as if I failed at that too. He started spending his time at hotels partying. But then you came. Grandpa took my hand in his. You are just like her. Strong, independent, beautiful and most importantly stability in taehyung's materialistic world. He said smiling at me.
But I? Who am I to taehyung? Stability? But I am not even a part of his life. I laughed at myself and my ridiculous thoughts.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I was telling that tae is also close to Soon Jae's family. Soon Jae's nephew used to play with taehyungie when they were 10. Just think of it as family gathering. Since Soon-Jae lives alone he gathers his every near and dear for festivals. I told taehyungie to introduce you as his fiance to them.

At the party:

Taehyung was chatting with his friends laughing at some funny incident. DG was greeting everyone. Jimin and his mom were standing near taehyung observing the doctor's family and his wealth which was clearly showing with the lavish decor and expensive paintings on the wall.

Jiminie where were you? I was waiting for you. Why didn't you come earlier? DG threw infinite questions at me as I entered.

I had some work to finish Grandpa that's why I got late. Lies. He was late because he was left alone. Taehyung left with Jimin and his mom after he came back from office.

It's ok, come here. DG dragged me to meet other elders of his family. Jin was smiling half-heartedly to each face.

It was dinner time. I ate with DG who was constantly asking him if he was feeling ok. But Jin smiled telling him everything is ok.
