6. Meeting Kaname

Tears fall from my eyes. "I don't even know why I wanted to get to know you better...you...You Jerk!" In my anger I slap him across his cheek then run to the Headmasters House.

"Samantha! Wait...Please Wait!" He calls after me. But I refuse to stop. He was the one who told me to get out of his sight. So that is what I will do."

As I run I find my body moving away from the Headmasters house and I soon find myself by the same fountain from earlier this week. Collapsing to the cold ground my body can't stop shivering. I can't stop the tears falling from my eyes as my hands cover my face.

"You look cold..." My head snaps up and I am met with a gorgeous pair of crimson eyes right before my face. "Why don't you let me escort you back inside to get warmed up..." He holds his hand out to me. "After all it is after curfew, and you wouldn't want to get in trouble now would you?" I place my hand in his and he pulls me to my feet. "Why are you crying?"

I lower my gaze from him in silence. "Your in the night Class..." I whisper out.

"That I am...."

"Shouldn't you be in class by now then..."

"How could I when you are here alone crying?" His hand reaches out to me and cups my face. Raising my chin my gaze meets his again. "You truly are a rare beauty..." He whispers. "Please, grace my ears with hearing your name."

"Samantha..." I whisper quietly. "Samantha Hirose."

"Samantha...." He speaks in a quiet voice while our eyes are locked together. "Your perfect..." His thumb wipes away my tears that fall down my cheek. "I wish not to see you so pained."

"Who are you?" I ask in a daze as I can't seem to look away.

"I am Kaname Kuran...but your ice cold." His eyes show worry. "Please, let me escort you inside, I would hate to see you get sick." I nod my head as he wraps an arm around my waist to lead me back to the headmasters house.

Walking in silence Kaname speaks up. "Does your wrist hurt?"

"What?" I look up at him confused.

He stops walking and takes my hand in his. He pulls up my sleeve of my hoodie revealing my red wrist. "Kiryu was rough on you..." He says in a stern voice, his eyes clouding over in anger.

"I'm fine...."

"So that is not why you are crying?"

I shake my head. "No......"

"Will you tell me?"

"I..." I gaze into his eyes. "I can't....I'm sorry. You should get to class."

"I would much rather be here with you Samantha...." Unlike Zero; he wants to be with me?

"But you don't know me..."

"Is it so wrong to want to get to know you...." He cups my face in his big warm hands again. "You intrigue me...I want to learn everything about you..." His crimson eyes look like they can see right into my soul. "What hurt you so badly..." He whispers.

"I lost my....." I freeze. "I'm not ready......" I close my eyes.

"I won't force you." I open my eyes to see his kind smile. "Tell me when you are ready too."

"Thank you..." I allow him to guide me to the Headmasters house when Kaname stops walking and stares straight ahead.

"You should be in class Kuran..." I turn to see Zero standing there with a blank face.

"I found our dear Samantha outside cold and crying Kiryu. I thought it be best to see her back inside then leave here there while I attend class."

Zero's face drops for a moment.

I turn to Kaname and smile at him. "Thank you so much for everything..." I turn to leave when he grasps my hand.

I turn my gaze back to his crimson eyes and I find myself mesmerized by him. "May I see you again Samantha?"

"That is not allowed...." Zero speaks up as he storms towards us. "You know better then anyone. It is forbidden to have the Day and Night class students together....Get to Class Kuran."

"Until we meet again my dear Samantha..." I watch Kaname turn around and elegantly walk away. I stare after him unable to take my eyes from his graceful body.

I slowly turn my gaze back to Zero.

"Why....Why must you do this to me!" Zero growls out as he stares at me. He storms up to me and grasps my shoulders with both hands. "You...." His gaze makes my heart flutter. I watch his eyes travel down from mine towards my lips. His eyes then go lower and he takes a step away from me. "You have no idea what you do to me..."

"Zero..." I step towards him. "Why do you always push me away like this?"

"Because...if I don't." His lavender eyes pierce into my pink ones. "I am afraid of what I may do to you..." He whispers. He takes a small step towards me. "I fear one of these times I will lose control of myself while with you..."

"Then trust me to help you keep in control..." I whisper as I grasp his hand. There is just something about Zero that draws me to him. Could I possible be falling for this guy who refuses to have anything to do with me?

"It's not that simple Samantha. What is best for you is to stay far away from me...please....Stay away from me from now on." He begs as he walks away from me once more.
