12. Level E?

I lay in my bed with my head on Zero's chest. My body moves up and down with his steady breathing. With his arms wrapped protectively around my body I feel at peace.

"Zero?" I whisper his name.

"Hmm?" He asks with his eyes closed.

"Who all knows the truth...about the Night Class..."

"Just the Headmaster, Yuki and myself."

For an instant I remember what Trish and Mia said. The only girl the night class and Zero only give attention to was Yuki.

"Does....." I pause for a moment. "Does Yuki..." Zero opens his eyes and looks at me.

"Does Yuki what?" He asks me calmly.

"Does she know the truth about you...." I whisper quietly.

"No.....Why do you ask?"

"You have feelings for her right?" I have my eyes glued to his chest as I can not bring myself to look at him.

"I wont lie to you. Yes Samantha I did have feelings for her....but that was until I met you." He whispers. He rolls over so I end up on my back as he hovers over top of me. My cheeks burn red as he gazes at me. "Your all I think about now..." He props his head up with his hand as he gazes at me.

"Wwwho all knows about you I mean..." I stutter under his gaze.

"Just Headmaster Cross and that damn Pure Blood."

"Pure Blood?" I ask confused. "Who....." My mind goes blank. "Kk..Kaname?" I ask in a whisper.

A thought just hit me. "Zero....you turned into a Vampire after being bitten....." His expression is blank as I speak. "Does that mean I....."

"No.." He cuts me off. "Only the bite of a Pure Blood can change a human into a Vampire....so you're safe from my bite at least."

I shiver and curl up in a ball as fear takes over me. "Kaname....he almost.....that night...didn't he?....I was so lonely I didn't know what he was doing...."

"Yes...if Kuran bites you then you will become a Vampire.. That is why I told you to stay away from him." Zero whispers to me.

"So whats a Level E?" I ask frightened.

"Samantha enough questions.....I hate this subject..." His voice grows cold.

"Sorry...." I whisper as a tear slides down my face.

He sighs as he pulls my body into his and hugs me. "Forgive me...I did not mean to hurt you with my words.....It's just I hate the life I got pushed down..." He wipes away my tear.

"I should have known better Zero." I whisper. "No more questions..." I whisper to him. Though one way or another I need to find out what a Level E is....And if Zero wont tell me....then I can only think of one other person who will.

My body shivers at the thought of willingly going to go talk to him.

It's late....I glance to the clock on my wall. He should be just about done with Classes now...I throw on a black hooded sweater and pull the hood over my pink hair. Taking a deep breath I open my window and climb down to the ground.

Taking another deep breath I try to stop my body from trembling in fear as I walk silently across the school grounds.

If Zero were to see me...he would be mad. I pray that I will avoid him, knowing full well he is patrolling the grounds with Yuki.

I make my way just outside of the moon dorm and hide in the shadows. I wait in silence for a couple of minutes when a voice startles me.

"You are a very foolish girl...." I turn around in fright.
