20. Nightmares & A Deal

"Sammy hurry up!" A girl with short brown hair around the age of 9 giggles.

"Slow down Anne....." I smile as she runs ahead of me through the city street. "Anne!" I race after her. I am afraid of losing her in the crowd around us. My heart rate speeds up as her hair of brown hair disappears. "ANNE!" I scream.

My long pink hair flies behind my body as I race through the crowds. My pink eyes fly back and forth looking for my little sister.

"ANNE!!!"

"SAMMY!" I spin around to see my tiny sister tears falling down her eyes running towards me. "I thought I lost you...and I would never find you again!" She cries out as she reaches, me throwing her arms around my body.

"Don't scare me like that...." I whisper as I hug her tightly. "If I lost you.....I would lose everything....." I whisper as I run my hands through her brown hair.

"I will never leave you...." Anne hugged me tighter as she whispers through her tears.

"Promise me...." I whisper.

"Pinkie Promise...." She holds her tiny pinkie out to me and I hook mine around her. "Sammy...your my best friend....and we will be together forever."

"Together Forever..." I smile.

The scene suddenly changes around me. The crying girl I held tightly is no longer crying. In fact she is no longer breathing. Her body is lifeless as her blood pours onto my body.

"Anne!" I scream as I bolt up from my dream. "Anne......" I whisper as tears fall from my eyes. "You were never supposed to leave me...." I whisper as I curl up on my side in a ball.

"Samantha...." I don't need to look to know who it is. I feel the bed dip down beside me.

"Leave me alone...." I whisper through my tears.

I feel his hand brush my hair from my face and he rubs his thumb along my cheek. "I hate to see you hurting."

"Then let me leave..." I sit up on Kaname's bed and stare into him crimson eyes. "Kaname....you know I am not happy here with you. Please...."

His hand reaches out and caresses my cheek. "Your so beautiful. Please don't cry."

"Then let me leave.....let me be with who I love." I pull my knees up and hug them. "Kaname....I have lost so much in my life already....please don't let me lose him."

I see anger flash through his eyes. "In the end you will learn to love me as you do Kiryu. This was your choice, You chose to come here." I watch as he turns his back to walk away.

My body flies towards him and I grasp his arm tightly. I watch his body stiffen as he stares ahead.

"Let me just see him one night....Kaname I beg of you....you never even let me say goodbye to him....Please....just give me one night."

"And If I agreed to that? What then Samantha?" His eyes never meet mine as I hear the coldness in his voice.

"I......"

"If I allowed you to spend one night with your precious beloved Kiryu..." He turns to me and I see the fire in his crimson eyes. "What would I get out of this?"

"You would get me....."

"I already have you."

I stand up and walk across the room to stand in front of him. "You would get all of me....." He stares at me silently. "I will stop fighting this...." I raise my hands up and cup his face in my hands. I pull him down towards me. "I will give you my everything...I will give you my heart."

"Just one night?" He whispers softly as he gazes into my pink eyes.

"Please...that is all I ask. You allow me to have this...I will never beg to see Zero Kiryu ever again." I pull his face in closer until my soft pink lips press against his. "I will forever be yours Kaname."

"Deal." His lips meet mine as he kisses me passionately. "I love you Samantha."
