Grace Marlowe was a bitch. A beautiful, golden haired bitch. They thought she was flawless, but later they would know that she was anything but. Frankly, she was vain. She was selfish. She was cold. She have never had any friend and she thought she...

THE EARTH SUCKED. Grace promised to herself to never believe what the teachers have ever told her again, as they never informed them about living savages, yellow toxic fog, and inevitable deaths you would find on Earth. They were all about green trees, beautiful flowers, and blue fucking sky.
Well guess what? The sky was so dark right now, and the day wasn't even over yet. It was as if the universe knew about the tragedy that just happened on the ground, and the clouds and the sun decided to team up to mock them.
It almost made her miss the Ark. Almost.
Still, she couldn't comprehend the way she lost control over herself when she saw Atom's dying form. It was completely ridiculous, she didn't know the guy but it affected her so thoroughly. As if he reminded her of something terrible that had happened in the past.
He did.
He fucking did.
The Earth sucked.
It was a memory long forgotten, buried deep inside the corner of her brain. It wasn't suppose to resurface ever again. It was suppose to stay hidden and ignored by her entire being. She had succeeded to do so for what seemed like her whole life but just because the Earth wanted to surprise her, she slipped, and it felt like the biggest failure in her entire existence.
Which was why she was currently sitting alone against the newly made wall like some anti-social nerd she had bullied in the past.
She watched as another fight between the Blake siblings happened, and then a small dispute between Bellamy and Murphy. It actually made her feel better to know that she wasn't the only one having a bad day, but with everything that just happened, she should've known that everyone wouldn't be cheerful and walking around with a spring in their steps at least for the rest of the day.
And because she was Grace fucking Marlowe, she would be the first one who got over herself, and walked with an awfully cheerful spring in her steps.
Her first stop was Octavia's tent. She had seen the girl stomping furiously away from her brother and the dead body of her ex lover. If anything, she could use some delightful company which was what Grace so generously offered.
Turns out, Octavia didn't agree with her. It ended rather poorly instead and took a different path than what Grace had planned.
Grace found the youngest Blake silently crying over her bed. When she noticed the arrival of the blonde girl, she immediately tried to wipe her tears and sent her a menacing glare.
"What are you doing here?"
Grace raised her hands in surrender. "Calm down, I just want to check on you. Are you okay, Honey?"
Octavia snorted. "What do you think?"
Despite the blatant animosity, Grace smiled softly and stepped closer to the girl. "I'm so sorry for Atom. I know you really cared about him."
