Marichat/Adrienette: Romantic Halloween

Many years ago on Halloween, a young Marinette went trick o treating as a small ladybug and walked around the neighborhood with her parents. Marinette ran to a house without warning her parents and once she turned around, her parents were missing. The seven-year-old cried and cried and everyone walked around her and ignored her as she sat on the sidewalk weeping. But then a small boy around the same age walked up to her and sat next to her. He was dressed up in a black cat outfit and his face was covered with a black mask, like Cat Woman. 

The blonde cat asked, "What is wrong, Miss Ladybug? Why are you sad?"

Marinette looked at him and sniffed. "I can't find my mommy and daddy."

The boy gave her a handkerchief and she used it to wipe her face dry. The boy held her hand and helped her up. "Don't worry. I am Cat Noir and I will return you to your parents. After all, I am a superhero!"

Marinette looked at the boy with the bright emerald eyes and laughed gleefully. "I never heard of the superhero named Cat Noir. Who have you saved?"

The boy blushed and thought for a moment. "Uh..., well, you're the first person I will save. I will let nothing bad happen to you."

Suddenly, a large man and a petite woman screamed as they ran toward Marinette and the boy, "MARINETTE! THERE YOU ARE!"

The boy hissed at the grown-ups and waved his stick around. Marinette stopped the boy and said, "No! That's my mommy and daddy! We found them! Thank you Cat Noir!" The ladybug hugged the black cat and returned to her parents.

They hugged her and kissed her all over. They were so happy to find her again. Marinette told them all about the boy and wanted them to meet him, but by the time she turned around, he was gone. Marinette was sad but she realized in her hand she still had his handkerchief. There was a monogram on it "A.A." in big cursive on top of a butterfly silhouette.

Marinette hugged the handkerchief close to her chest and whispered, "I'll return this to you soon. My hero."

Years have passed and now Marinette is seventeen and has just got accepted into a fashion university. But before she packs up she must do the one thing she promised to do ten years ago.  

Marinette heard about a Halloween party being held by Gabriel Agreste. She wasn't invited but she ended up being hired as a waitress for the party. Even though she is clumsy, she managed to get second ballroom waiting staff offering people slices of fruit at a table. Marinette was dressed in a black skirt that went all the way down on to her knees. She wore a long-sleeve white top under a black vest. Because it was Halloween themed, she wore her ladybug earrings and a ladybug button on her vest. She wore a red all-over mask with black dots that complimented her eyes well. She was super nervous but she had to stay focused on why she was actually here.

She needed to return the handkerchief to the owner. Adrien Agreste.

Adrien Agreste was known as a mysterious boy who was multi-talented and was the son of Gabriel Agreste. She had no proof it was his handkerchief he gave her that night until one day she researched more about Adrien. Ever since he was young, he had his stuff monogrammed with A.A.: towels, toys, cups and especially handkerchiefs. 

Adrien Agreste had to be her hero back then. But where was he?

Suddenly, Marinette saw a tall handsome blonde boy wear a black tuxedo and cat ears. He also had a black mask on and made his green eyes pop out. He walked around holding a popsicle in his hands. He licked it slowly between breaths as he talked to a group of men his own age. Before Marinette knew it, she was already speed walking toward him. Is it him? Is that the black cat from ten years ago?
