"(Y/n), there you are."
Charlie strolled into my room, holding a box full of what appeared to be Halloween decorations.
I was still leaning against the wall, breathing heavily. I sighed and went to sit on my bed.
"Are you okay, (y/n)? You look kinda pale."
I nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. I, uh, just need some air, if that's okay?"
She smiled. "Okay. If you want, go to the woods. Its lovely in Autumn."
I stood up and tried my best not to run out of there.
"Be back for like 9, okay? People go missing here all the time."
A lump formed in my throat, and I attempted to swallow it down. I need exactly who might be the cause behind the disappearances.
I weakly smiled and got out of there as fast as I could.
When I got outside, I relished the cold evening air. The wind whipped my hair around my face a little bit, and I set about finding the damn clown his damn meal.
Wait, I didn't even know what exactly he wanted. Did he have a preference? I groaned, desperately wishing for just a second I was having a boring Halloween at home, instead of running around killing people.
"Pennywise." I said as I came out of the huge garden. "Can I talk to you-"
"What's up, little one?" A hand was on my shoulder. "Did you miss me? I haven't been away long, you know."
"I, um, I don't know what you want in terms of a meal...I was hoping you could shed some light on the subject?"
He shrugged. "Children are best. Easiest to scare. Oh, and I especially enjoy them when they are scared!"
He drooled. Probably imagining a dead kid. Creep.
I forced a smile. "Uhm, cool. Yeah... so I have to get you a kid?"
"That would be best."
I made a mental note on everything he just said.
So, basically I need a scared kid. I didn't think there would be kids out this late.
While I was figuring out where to go from there, Pennywise went back to wherever he came from. I shakily sighed.
"Time to feed that fucking... thing."

Eventually, after stalking around the little kiddies park, I found some young teens, around 11 or 12 ish, who were lost.
"I told you, we should've gone that way!" The tallest of the group, with freckles and a slicked back hairdo, retorted at his friend.
"Um, no, I was 100 percent sure it was this way-"
"Hey, boys. Are you okay? Are you lost?"
The boys stared at me for a moment, when the slick dude smiled.
"Yeah, we are, but who are you, beautiful?"
I internally cringed. "Just a friendly passerby. The way out of the park is that way, by the way." I pointed behind me.
They thanked me for a moment. Then slick spoke again.
"So, uh, are you single?"
I tried my best to smile.
"Yeah. Hey, are you guys going to that party on Neibolt Street?"
The boys chuckled. "Who isn't?" Slick replied. He smirked at me, trying to be flirty, I presume.
"Well, maybe I'll see you there."
I strode off into the darkness, feeling kinda sad for those boys.
They were gonna lose Slick.
I got home eventually, taking all the scenic routes. I didn't actually see Pennywise like I thought I might, but all was well. I could sleep that night.
I sat on my bed, thinking about the last 24 hours.
First I'm rudely awoken for school. Next, I have a shitty day there. Then, my boyfriend breaks up with me and calls me immature. Then...then I met the clown.
So yeah. Great day.
Charlie came in, and she started talking about the party tomorrow night. All I thought of was how I would...yknow, kill Slick boy.
Charlie sensed my stiff mood, because she left me to my own devices.
I jumped off of the bed and busied myself trying different hairstyles in the mirror. But when each one looked bad on my head.
"I give up!" I muttered. I looked totally ugly.
"I think you're rather beautiful, but hm, we all have our own opinions."
I blushed at Pennywises comment, glaring at his reflection in the mirror.
"What do you want now?"
"Nothing much. Just checking in, seeing how the meal is cooking up."
I bit my lip and sighed. "I found a boy in the park, he'll be at the party tomorrow."
I turned to him and folded my arms. "Are you happy?"
He smiled. "Very. Good girl."
I shrugged and went into the closet to find some pyjamas. I found a fluffy t shirt and some shorts. I turned to leave and bumped into a soft object.
My breath hitched when I realised what it was.
I looked up into his blue eyes, blushing because of how close we were.
He lent down- surely he wasn't going to kiss me, right?- and kissed my forehead. I blinked a few times.
"U-um, wha-"
"Thank you." He gave me a grin because I was nervous. I closed my eyes and sighed. When I opened them, he was gone.
