12.A Plan

"Okay what exactly are we going to do now, like how are we going to go out and get food or go to school?",Jay inquired.

"Yeah, me and Mark can see in the day but our eyes are glowing.",Andrew joined in.

Hmm...Me,Jeff, and Jay(I already made him glasses as well) could go out during the day using our glasses but we're probably gonna get weird looks and questions. Mark and Andrew can see well in the day but people will freak out when they see their red glowing eyes but even if they wear sun glasses, you'll still be able to see their eyes. However if they were the same glasses I do, their eyes won't be visible. Then again they can't see through it.

Lost in my train of thought, I didn't even realize that Jeff had been calling my name several times. "ASH!",he yelled at the top of his lungs.I snapped out of my trance and looked at him.

"What?"

"I said they could just stay inside the house for a while until we find a plan. Me, Jay and you can go out to get food and stuff."

"That sounds like a good idea but I have a suggestion. Why don't we go check out the news, like what if this zombie virus has infected the entire world?!"

He nodded in agreement and put on his glasses, me and Jay did the same. I walked towards the TV and turned it on.

"Breaking news, an airborne virus is infecting people from all around the world. The virus was said to originate from the annual flu shot that took place several days ago. This virus is turning everyone it infects into so-called 'zombies' that we see in movies. As bizarre as it sounds, it's true and currently all zombies have red eyes from what our researchers have observed. We advise to all that everyone to avoid people who are sneezing because the sneezing is a symptom of the virus-",I didn't pay attention to anything else he said after that.

The only thing I could think of right now is that the world had been infected by the virus. People will very likely try to kill any zombies they see and I don't want to risk losing Mark or Andrew.

"Guys I might have a plan.",I blurted out.

They all looked at me with a glimmer of hope in their eyes. "Well then let's hear it.",I took a deep breath.

"We should move into some cabin in a remote place surrounded by a forest. Jeff and I happen to have a cabin up north that our ...parents bought for the holidays years ago. We could stay there.",I explained.

"That could work, but where exactly is it?", Jay asked.

We began discussing the plan, what we should pack, how are we going to get there, and other important things. We spent hours upon hours repeating and perfecting the plan since we're going to live in the cabin for the rest of our lives or until another solution can be found but until then we're sticking with this one.
