"Hey, stop eavesdropping on us!",Mark yelled all of a sudden.

A startled gasp and a movement in a nearby bush caught all our attentions. Mark growled at the human hiding behind the bush. The man backed away in fear.

"You didn't have to do that.",Andrew muttered.

"Sure, I did. Those humans have been nothing but a pain in the neck.",Mark grumbled.

"I know but still, that was a bit too much."

"No, it wasn't. They are the complete opposite of the people we should trust."

"But, they're the only humans around here. You should try to be more lenient with them. Not scaring them."

"I'm just saying, they haven't exactly been proven trustworthy."

"Well, who would dare mess with us? Use your head for once,Mark. Why did I even become friends with an idiotic clown?",Andrew retorted harshly.

I sniffed the air and right to my suspicions, the human was still here. I turned towards the location of his smell and snarled at him. He dashed off instantly in a panic.

Hurt shone from Mark's eyes and he took a few steps back from Andrew. He wasn't the only one shocked. Mark was Andrew's closest friend. Why would he say such a thing?

"Ouch.",Jeff said.

I gave him a punch to the arm and he winced slightly. "Hey, I was only trying to lighten up the mood."

I rolled my eyes at him and turned to Andrew. "What's wrong with you lately? You've been acting so distance and after everything they've done so far, you're on their side? Unbelievable. You're the one who needs to use your head."

Guilt flashed through his eyes and his mouth opened before quickly closing again. Without any reply, he took off into the forest.

"Mark, you alright?",I asked.

"Y-Yeah.",was his response although anyone can tell that he felt otherwise.

"Hey,why don't you go take a rest for a couple hours? I'm sure you'll feel better afterwards.",Jay advised.

"Okay, I'll see you guys later.",he said before going away.

I waited until he was far enough and turned to Jeff and Jay. "What the heck are we going to do about this?"

"Well, maybe if the humans hadn't been so ungrateful, none of this wouldn't have happened.",Jay replied.

"Wait a minute, this is exactly what they wanted.",Jeff said slowly.

"He's right, they can't beat all of us. But all of them could beat each of us separately. They're trying to tear us apart and attack us one by one.",I exclaimed.

A loud snarl and barks echoed from the tents. "Mark! We've got to go help him!"

We ran as fast as possible towards the sound. I gasped at the gruesome sight. The humans except the old grandmother and the little girl who was nowhere to be found were restraining Mark while Storm was barking viciously at them. Mark had a bullet wound on his right thigh and blood pouring down a large gash across his chest.

My body was boiling with uncontrollable rage and it took every ounce of me to not slaughter every single one of them. "Let him go,now.",I said, venom lacing each word.

"How about no?",Anna taunted.

Jay, not able to control his self, pounced on one of the humans and slashed him right in the face. All hell broke lose.

Jeff grabbed a nearby axe and threw it to another human, it hit his arm with a loud crack. The human let out a blood curdling scream upon the impact. Jeff took the opportunity and slashed his legs causing him to fall.

I turned to Anna and she had a terrified look on her face. I smirked and crouching slightly before snarling at her. I leaped and brought down my talon like nails onto her. The smell of human blood caused my instincts to react wildly.

I controlled myself and stepped back. Anna has four bloody claw marks on across her chest. She stumbled back and looked at me with a fearful gaze.

"Now, take your fellow humans and scram.",I said calmly.

She scrambled away with the other humans. Although, the old granny and the little girl didn't budge. The grandmother was covering the girl's eyes.

I glanced around and saw Jay and Jeff struggling with his control. "You guys go ahead and clean up. Resist the urge to taste human blood. If you don't, you'll lose your sanity. I'll help Mark."

They nodded and headed towards the cabin. I turned towards the remaining humans and said,"You two haven't done anything yet so I'll let you stay but remember we'll be keeping a close eye on you."

The grandmother smiled warmly and went inside the cabin with the little girl. I went over to Mark and helped him up. "You okay?",I asked worriedly.

"What do y-you think?",he asked sarcastically.

"C'mon, let's get you patched up."
