ACT 1 SCENE 10
-Inside Charles’s house. Kayla, Connor, Chelsie, Rachel
Connor: Alright everybody. We’re looking for any suspicious items.
Kayla: You mean like this bottle of wine that just happens to be the same as the one the first victim drank? *holds up the bottle *
Chelsie: Or this bottle that the second victim drank? *Holds up another bottle*
Rachel: How do you do that?
Kayla: We’re just that awesome.
Connor: But how are those here? They should have been in the evidence locker down at the precinct. I have to go make a call.
-Connor exits. Rachel starts opening cabnets
Rachel: Do you think there could be anything in...
-Stops and pulls out a bottle marked “Arsenic”
Chelsie: What is that?
Rachel: I think I just found the murder weapon.
Kayla: Do you mind if I take a look at that? *Rachel hands her the bottle* Just as I thought. The second murder, the husband is a pharmaceutical technician. Wouldn’t it be strange if his name was on the bottle?
Rachel: I knew it!
-Connor reenters looking panicked
Connor: The bottles are gone and some man claiming to be the victims brother came and took custody of the bodies. What is our next move?
Kayla: I think we need to go and talk to the pharmaceutical technicians wife.
Chelsie: Why the wife?
Kayla: That’s where all our answers are.
