Well everybody, It's been a great ride. I'm sorry this part is so late. I'm not going to be able to start Act 2 for a while, but thank you so much for reading and staying interested. See you in a few weeks!
ACT 1 SCENE 12
-In the police precinct Kayla, Chelsie, Connor, Rachel, Taylor, Carly, Madison, and Aly. Aly is still in her cell, Taylor and Carly are arguing quietly in a corner, Madison is trying to break them up, Rachel is at a computer, Connor is on the phone, Kayla and Chelsie are looking through the evidence file.
Connor: What do you mean you don’t know who he was? Didn’t you say it was his brother?
Aly: The victim didn’t have a brother, Sir. He was an only child.
Connor: *To Rachel* Thanks.
Rachel: Sir, I didn’t say anything.
Connor: Whatever.
Aly: Have you talked to the next door neighbor since yesterday?
Rachel: *To Kayla* We haven’t needed to. Do you think we should?
Kayla: Should what?
Rachel: Talk to the next door neighbor.
Kayla: Probably a good idea.
Rachel: Didn’t you just ask if we had?
Kayla: Nope. *Goes back to the evidence folder*
Aly: Why don’t you just share the fish? Have it spend one week with one mommy, and the next with the other.
Taylor: *To Maddison* You know, I don’t think I’ve thought of that. What do you think?
Carly: I think it could work.
Taylor: Thanks.
Maddison: For what?
Carly: Never mind. Lets get out of here. They look pretty busy.
Taylor: Movie night!
-Carly and Taylor exit
Connor: So who was our victim?
Rachel: I don’t know, Sir.
Connor: This is important people! We need to find this out!
Aly: Why don’t you try calling the next door neighbor. It’s worth a shot, right?
Rachel: Yes, Sir.
Connor: What?
Rachel: Didn’t you just tell me to call the neighbor?
Connor: I might have. I need to call someone.
-Connor exits
Aly: Have you found anything unusual in there yet?
Chelsie: *To Kayla* Like what?
Kayla: What?
Chelsie: Did you just ask if i had found anything unusual?
Kayla: No.
Chelsie: It’s weird because i was just thinking that maybe i had.
Kayla: Oh? Please share.
Chelsie: There are no pictures of the victims. In all the dramas that I’ve watched, there wasr pictures of the bodies.
Kayla: You know, I think you might be on to something.
-Connor reenters
Connor: Or bodies are missing. And it wasn’t really the husbands brother.
Aly: I bet it was the next door neighbor posing as the victim and then he smuggled the bodies out. The “Victims” are still alive somewhere. Oh I love a good mystery!
Connor: Neither body is still in the morgue. My guy down there says that the “brother” just waltzed in and took the bodies, claiming that he was the first victims brother.
Kayla: My partner pointed something out to me. There are no pictures in your evidence folder.
Connor: There should be. The guy... *Pauses and then shouts* The guy taking pictures at the second scene was the next door neighbor!
Aly: Even I knew that.
Rachel: What’s our next move, Sir?
Connor: Someone needs to get down to the morgue and ask if their pictures have gone missing.
Kayla: We can do that.
Connor: Alright. *Points at rachel* We’re going back to the next door neighbors house.
Aly:The drama begins!
