I find myself in a place unlike any other back home. A void overflowing with darkness and even blacker than how I imagined space would be. There were no stars. No planets. Not even the sun. Just an endless pool of darkness all around me.

For the first time in my life, I was truly, utterly alone. If I were to fade away here...no one would know. No one would be here to save me. Not my mom. Not Freddie, Gramps, or Marco.

And it was terrifying.

Terrifying not knowing weather you was dead or alive. To not even see a single inch of your body. Let alone even hear your own screams. Even when you can feel your mouth open and your face contort to form a scream. Even when all the air leaves your lungs as your chest tightens for more air. All I ever got in return, was a earful of silence.

The next thing I remember seeing was a window. All-red. Ultra-smooth like glass. Expanding in a band of red, deep within the void.

Drawn by its magical pull, my body jerks forward. I let out a series of yelps and shrieks. Moving my arms in panicky circles. Fighting to find my blanche in a place with no floor.

"Woah! Hey! What's the big idea here?! Stop! I command you to stop!" I yell frivolously. But I couldn't stop myself. It was like some otherworldly force was controlling my movements from deep within me.

The moment I make full body contact, a bright flash of red fills my vision, and for a few moments nothing happened.

The next...I come shooting out the other side. Body tumbling through the air. Until it slows to a gradual stop. And I find myself hovering. Literally floating in mid-air as if I were a puppet and someone invisible was holding the strings from a place I couldn't see.

I only had a moment of clarity. The mere shock of seeing colors, shapes, even the force of the wind hitting my clothes was overpowering. After being in that dark world, my mind was finding it hard to get a wrap around this new world I was in.

But I adjust. Blinking in a daze. To find myself in a world that has a red sky and a sea of clouds that swirled below in a fast moving blanket. The same thing was happening above me. While tornado-like clouds swayed around me like skyscrapers. With streaks of yellow lightning flashing every second in a chaotic dance of their own.

It then dawned on me. As I look down at the empty space down below, I realized I was hovering!

A gasp slips out. I sit there. Waiting for the moment to start falling. But it never comes. That's when I inspect myself. Bringing my hands closer, turning them over, eying them in a wide-eyed trance, as my hair, now grown back to its full length, flows upwards in a trail of black.

"How am I--what is this?" I utter breathlessly.

A surge of pain comes blaring from my temple. I shriek. The pain was out of this world! Like someone just struck me in the head with a hammer!
