Chapter 4- What Do You Remember?

Lily's POV~

It's been a few days since my dad was brought back from the dead. And I basically rekilled him. Alaric found the monster who did that, but I've been watched like a hawk so I could never go down there.

Until now.

"You've got a powerful scent of death on you girly. Dead family? Killed people? A little bit of both perhaps?" the necromancer asked as I walked in. I don't answer. Only open the cell door. "Oh have you come to free me? Good girl." "Not exactly," I say and vamp speed to him, hitting him so hard the chair goes into the ground. And I repeat it. Again. And again. And again. Over and over with all my strength before lifting him up by the collar of his suit and yelling at him.

"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU DID!" I scream and continue to beat him. "YOU MADE ME LOSE HIM! AGAIN!"

Then I feel someone pulling off of him. "Hey! Hey! Calm down it's me!" I turn around and see Hope. "Oh come to make sure your little girlfriend didn't come near me did ya?" The dweeb in the cell says to Hope. "Why don't you just shut up." Hope says not even looking at him, instead, looking at my hand making sure nothing is broken. "How dare you talk to me that way. I'm the almighty Necro-" "Would you shut up about that. Literally, no one knows who you are." Hope says looking at him.

"Impossible." "Don't believe me? Read up." she hands him books and unlocks the chains on his hands. I just walk away.

A while later, I'm in my room reading when Hope barges in. "What the hell was that earlier?" not bothering to look up form my book I say "Just releasing some anger. Which is completely justified."

Hope sighs and comes to sit in front of me. Taking the book from me she places two fingers under my chin and makes me look at her. "Lil, I know you're not okay. You can talk to me whenever you need to you know. I'll always be here." she says in a quiet voice. I just nod. "I know. And when I'm ready, I will talk to you. Now, what do you need? You have that look on your face that you need something."

"So let me get this straight, you're going to have MG do a head dive, into that? And you want me as back up?" I say pointing to the necromancer. "I am not a that you impompous child." I just punch him again, hearing a breaking sound of his neck, he looks at Hope and points to me. "Oh, keep this one deary. She's got quite the swing in her. From my days, those ones are always the best in bed if you know what I mean." I just look at him with a grossed-out face, then I hit him again. "That's not the way to talk about a girl dickhead."

I go out of the cell, and Hope and I leave the basement. "I'm going to the kitchen to get something to eat, come find me when you have MG," I say to Hope then leave.

Going to the kitchen, I go in the pantry and grab an apple. Closing the door, Kaleb is right behind the door. "What the fuck do you want Kaleb," I say walking away to wash the apple. "I need blood" "There's a whole room right there. Have at it." I say taking a bite of the apple I have. "Not bunny blood. Human blood." "And I need a love life. Neither is going to happen today. So get lost." I go to walk away but he gets in front of me. "What you're so good you can't help a brother out? The Salvatore girl. Or are you a Saltzman? Hard to tell nowadays." Getting tired of the shit he's saying, I shove my apple in his mouth and walk out. Passing Hope and MG on the way.
