"Shit. Your cooking is still so good," The ravenette moaned as he practically inhaled the Gyudon.

Sweatdropping, you feel a warmth spread among your cheeks as you picked up your chopsticks. After your mini-episode, you showered and spent the next hour in the kitchen preparing dinner. As you did, Dabi simply sat silently across from you, watching you wash the vegetables, cook the omelettes, beef and rice. It was uncomfortable at first, but you slowly got used to his gaze, and the silence became comfortable.

"It's really not that great." You respond before reaching for an omelette, "But thank you anyway."

The boy with piercing turquoise eyes simply chuckled at you, "I see you're still as modest as ever."

"Dabi, I'm telling you, you have the wrong person." You say, rolling your eyes at the absurdity of his accusation.

There was no way in the world that the two of you knew each other — it was simply impossible.

Seeing you dismiss his assumption lit a glint of frustration in his eyes. Placing his bowl of rice and chopsticks firmly onto the table, a scowl found its way onto his face as his orbs burnt into your own, causing a pregnant silence. Despite his tantrum, you continued to eat.

Sitting in the opposite chair to you, the boy was beyond frustrated. He was confused. What is she playing at?

He was positive you were Hakozaki [Name], his best friend, his childhood crush. He'd only been gone for a few years. So how could you have forgotten him? Sure he looked different, his hair was now dyed black, and there were a few more patches on him, but he was still the same boy who ran away without you - and he regretted it every day.

"You know me." He said through gritted teeth.

"I don't."

"Yes you do."

"This is childish. I would know if I knew you," You rub your temples, growing annoyed with the spiky-haired male. "And the fact is, I am currently sitting here eating dinner with a completely random stranger."

While hearing this felt like a stab to the heart, Dabi was not one to give up. Instead, he realised that this was the perfect opportunity to re-jog your memory.

"Fine, if you insist that you don't know me then let's get to know each other." He said with genuine excitement, intertwining his hands and resting his chin above them.

Letting out a sigh, you realised that if you brushed this off, he would just bring it up some other time and quite frankly, you just wanted to get it over and done with.

"Alright, but you're going to be disappointed with the results." You say, crossing your arms with a smug smirk. "So how're we doing this?"

"We each get to ask a question, and you have to answer it."

Agreeing to his terms, you begin to put the dishes into the sink, ready to wash them.

Deciding to start easy, Dabi decided to confirm your identity.

"What's your name?"

"Hakozaki [Name]. What's your name?"

"Dabi," the ravenette smirked.

"That's not what I mea—"

"Ah ah ah, my turn," he playfully winks as you scowl at his childishness. "How old are you?"

"Nearly eighteen. How old are you?"

"Eighteen," he responded, watching bubbles form from the detergent and float around you.
