"That's impossible — she lives in seclusion, isolated from most of the world," a feminine voice spoke.

Shimura stood in front of a large interactive screen, one which took up the entire wall. This was the briefing room, the furthest place from the entry of the bar he was currently in. Displayed on the screen were two figures who could also see him.

One was a female who looked as if she was in her late thirties to early forties; however, everyone knew she was, in fact, in her mid-fifties. The woman was sipping from a glass of wine, twirling it in her hand as she did so. She was in casual attire, styling her green hair down, which reached her waist. Her skin was fair, and her purple eyes narrow, differing largely to her daughter's. Her figure was small, doing no justice to the damage she could cause with her Quirk and hotheaded temper.

The other figure was a male much larger than herself, being tall and muscular. His hair was golden blonde and shoulder-length while his eyes were similarly narrow to his wife's, however sporting blue irises. Being at home, he wore his hair without gel, letting it fall over his ears and close to his stubby beard. Unlike his wife, the man was often calm and collected, analysing the situation and acting only in his mission's benefit.

It was obvious, the two were none other than Hakozaki Sora and Hakozaki Kenichi — [Name]'s parents.

"It seems something has triggered her memories, causing interference in the memory blocks," Tenko spoke lowly.

"How do you know this?" Kenichi said gruffly, further narrowing his eyes.

"I've been in contact with [Name]. She said her headaches have returned and..." the younger male had become unaware that he had trailed off.

"And what, Tenko?" Sora questioned, growing impatient.

"She remembers the Todoroki."

There was a short silence. While Kenichi's eyes widened a tiny fraction, Sora couldn't believe it.

"T-toya?" The woman stuttered, setting her glass onto the table. "How is that possible?"

Everyone in that room knew the bond [Name] and Toya had. If anything were to set her off on a trip down memory lane, it'd be the Todoroki.

"Don't be absurd, Shimura. Toya died years ago, Enji told me himself." The blonde man said, maintaining a calm and collected exterior while his wife began to stress.

"She said she saw a boy with red hair and turquoise eyes," the red-eyed boy spoke through gritted teeth.

He had worked too hard to replace the Todoroki, and yet somehow, the redhead had snaked back into [Name]'s head.

Composing herself, Sora scowled. "What could have triggered this?"

"It's just a minor setback, [Name] probably saw someone who looked like Toya while she was at that bookstore or something. Don't worry about it, we'll just get Seiya back in town to strengthen his memory blocks." Kenichi spoke monotonously while placing his now empty cup of tea down. "How's her training coming along?"

"She's improving at a fast rate. Kurogiri believes she'll be ready to join the league soon." Shimura said with a joyous look in his eye.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Tenko," Sora laughed at his anticipation. "That'll be for us to decide. We wouldn't want her to end up like the other failures now, would we?"

Kenichi hummed in agreement thinking back to their previous children. All disappointments.

This is how the two were close to Todoroki Enji — obviously, the latter had no idea about their criminal affiliation. Just like Enji's marriage, Kenichi and Sora's marriage was also a Quirk marriage and similar to the Todoroki's goal, the Hakozaki's had created the perfect child after four tries. She had both of their Quirks, in a half and half balance.

"I understand."

"I will contact Seiya. Until then, keep an eye on her. Make sure she has no contact with anyone else. I don't want her somehow breaking through the barriers. We've worked too hard on her for it all to blow up in our faces now." The female Hakozaki spoke, recomposing herself before taking another sip of wine.

"She's right. [Name] is almost ready. We will keep in contact." Kenichi said before the two disappeared from the screen.

They're right. We've worked too hard for this to go to shit.

Don't worry master, I'll make this work.
