Dabi's wake was made immediately known by his distant groans that echoed from the guest bedroom.

"Looks like someone's up~" You utter to Chiba as you play with her paws.

Hearing his slow and heavy footsteps come closer, you poured yourself a mug of coffee. The warm sensation sliding down your throat caused a smile to settle on your face.

"What the hell did you do to me?!" The ravenette exclaimed, a murderous look in his eyes.

"Good morning to you as well," you say, raising your cup of coffee to him before taking another sip. "There's still coffee if you want some."

"Cut the bullshit." He threatened menacingly, stalking towards you.

Now you two were chest to chest... or some would say — head to chest.

The closeness caused heat to crawl up your neck as you take a step back.

Clearing your throat, you continue, "I simply used my Quirk on you."

Letting out an aggravated grunt, he runs his hand through his black hair. "So you have two Quirks?"

"No... what makes you say that?" You say with a raised eyebrow.

"I saw you make that man turn to dust so obviously you can explode people. Then you knocked me out. So that's two Quirks." Dabi yawned, stretching his arms before walking towards the window, taking in the view.

"Technically it's only one Quirk. I can absorb energy from the surrounding environment and life forms, and when I've stored enough, I can cause explosions." You say proudly, staring at his back.

She's powerful. He thought, she'd be a valuable asset.

"What time is it?"

"Almost eight." You respond, slipping into some sneakers.

"Why the hell are you up?" The turquoise-eyed boy sluggishly murmured, exhaustion taking over once again.

"I'm meeting up with—" before you could respond, you felt a buzz in your pocket.

"A friend," you finished off, tucking your phone into your bag.

"Whatever, I'm heading back to bed." He picked himself up and rubbed his eyes.

It would've been adorable if you had any clue who he was.

"E-excuse me! This is not your house!" You blurt incredulously. "You better be gone when I get back!"

"Not a chance, sweet cheeks. Your bed is really soft." He yells in response before disappearing.

"We've got a lunatic in our humble abode." You roll your eyes and massage your temples as Chiba and Kokoto purr, in agreement you assumed. "I've gotta dash otherwise Shimura will be mad I'm late but make sure he doesn't leave a mess on his way out, all right my babies?"

You give them small kisses before locking the door on your way out.

Maybe if I'd stayed out there a little longer, she would've given me a kiss too... The villain chuckled to himself before letting his heavy eyelids welcome sleep.
