A Little Mad

Chapter 35

TaTyana stormed into Bailey's room, slamming the door open. Bailey shot upward in her bed. Ash stayed fast asleep. TaTyana looked worried.

"Mercedes is gone Bailey!"

Bailey jumped out of bed and looked at her concernedly.

"What do you mean she is gone?! Have you looked everywhere?"

"Yes I have. She is not in her and Jerome's room. Also... the dresser is open and a mess.."

Bailey's eyes grew wide. She ran down the hall with TaTyana following her. TaTyana watched as Bailey went through the dresser.

"Shit!"

Bailey turned to TaTyana and looked at her as if the world was about to end. 

"She took Jerome's M1911 pistol... and the magazines Fuck!" 

TaTyana tilted her head and walked towards Bailey.

"Is that bad...?"

Bailey grabbed her arm and dragged her back down the hallway to her room.

"I really hope she has done nothing stupid. Ash get up now! Get up!"

Bailey shook Ash and when he didn't respond she pulled him off of the bed. He set up groaning and looked at her annoyed.

"Oh, fuck your annoyance right now! Mercedes is missing! She took Jerome's pistol out of his dresser and left! We have to go find her now!" 

Ash jumped up and grabbed his jacket off the floor by the closet.

"What the actually fuck?! We do not have time for this! Jerome is going tobe so pissed off when he gets back! If he even comes back!"

Bailey stood for a moment thinking. The lightbulb in clicked.

"I know where we should try first. Trust me. Let's go!" 

"Ed we can't afford to trust these people anymore. Jonathan and Jervis? The Scarecrow and Mad Hatter? They do nothing for us! They have done nothing but bounce amongst higher ranking underground bosses!"

Ed nodded. He smiled a charming smile.

"You are right Oswald, but then again, we do that to each other sometimes. But I think now... we can finally say we are true friends." 

Oswald smiled until he heard a noise. The two men turned to see they were no longer alone. Bailey aimed her gun and stepped forward slowly. TaTyana instantly locked eyes with Ed and he stared completely in a trance.

"Where is she you penguin fuck?!" 

Oswald laughed and set down in his armchair. 

"Bailey, I haven't seen you in a while. Where is who?"

Bailey stepped forward and Ash followed her. TaTyana stayed frozen to her spot. Ed flashed her a charming smile that made her blush.

"Mercedes. Where is she Oswald?!"

Oswald stood, laughing while nodding his head.

"Oh, you mean Jerome's fuck toy? Well, since there's confusion on my end, you can see that I have no idea where she is. Check the place if you must, but your little friend is not here."
