"There's been a security breach. It seems your criminal friends have brought the GCPD to us."

TaTyana stared at Adelaide, and Darrel worried. They opened the cage and stepped back.

"Come on!"

TaTyana gave them a confused look. She stepped out slowly.

"We're helping you. We may not find your friend before we get you out of here, but we will find her."

"There's no need to."

TaTyana beamed with happiness as Bruce and Mercedes came into view. Mercedes stared at the man and woman reluctant. Adelaide smiled weakly.

"It's okay. I promise. We really want to help."

Bruce gently grabbed Mercedes's wrist.

"We need to go now."

Darrel and Adelaide stepped toward TaTyana sadly.

"Unfortunately... Darrel and I cannot come with you anymore... you have your friends.. we cannot get caught betraying the society.."

TaTyana couldn't believe what was happening. She hadn't known these people over two days, but she was overly emotional at them leaving her. It was almost as if she was losing her parents again. She hugged them both and turned to Bruce.

"Let's go."

"Jerome behind you!"

Jerome turned around just in time to stab a guy with an owl mask in the chest. He grinned.

"Thanks Jimbo."

"Pay attention Valeska!"

Jerome rolled his eyes.

"Okay Bullock. Says the cop behind the vehicle!"

The exit was within reach. The only problem was the owl masks holding guns in their faces. Mercedes clinched her fists, and her skin slowly turned a deep red. She gazed towards TaTyana with a sickening grin. TaTyana smiled and nodded her head. Mercedes turned back to Bruce.

"Stand back."

The people in the owl masks stepped forward. A low and deep grumble rang through the air. TaTyana fell to the ground. Mercedes watched as they stepped backwards. Mercedes had chills at the sight of a Cerberus. The hound of Hades. She smiled. It only took three seconds for the first bullets to go flying. Mercedes ran towards the exit screaming. Bruce watched as people were burned to ashes, and their body parts went all over the place. The running footsteps behind him gave him a purpose to join the fight. Mercedes's head pounded, and she stopped fighting. Her vision blurred. Jeremiah's body was being dragged behind the building. A tear fell down her cheek, and the anger grew. She grabbed the man running towards and punched straight through his chest out his back. She ripped her hand from his body, holding his beating heart. She watched as the man fell to the ground lifeless. She stared at the beating heart and watched it slowly die with such a sickening pleasure it almost scared her. No sooner did the heart hit the ground, it was crushed by the weight of her foot. She stared at her hand stained with blood, as an arm flew past her head. The pit of her stomach was on fire. She fell to her knees as tears stung her cheeks. Her tears were burning her skin. She let out a low, Earth shaking scream. She froze instantly. It was almost as if she could hear someone. She didn't know who it was, but that person was telling her to get up and stop acting like she couldn't win this fight. Her deep breath pulled her upward. She closed her eyes tightly.
