The air turned cool and pricked the side of the top hat wearing man's cheek. He could sense a presence was with him in the room. He slowly began to reach for his watch when the sound of a gun clicking stopped him.

"I wouldn't grab that if I were you. Hypnosis just isn't going to be used today."

The voice sounded very familiar just not raspy. The man slowly turned around from the desk he was standing at and smiled.

"Oh, hello Jeremiah. You look different. I haven't seen you since..."

Jeremiah cut him off walking forward with an eyebrow raised putting his gun away.

"Since you came into my bunker and tried to terrorize me with children of corn and my short sided psychotic brother? Yes, I remember that day all too well."

Jervis laughed slightly.

"I was just working for someone who did help me escape Arkham. I'm sure you understand that."

Jeremiah nodded.

"Well now, I need your skills."

Jervis laughed.

"And why would help you?"

Jeremiah smiled wickedly.

"My dear brother Jerome has gone soft. Domestic. He needs to be brought back out of the shadows for his destruction."

Jervis rolled his eyes.

"You and your brother are making this city tired."

Jeremiah smiled wickedly.

"It may interest you to know that the thing he fell domestic for could be a brilliant weapon of destruction and complete power."

Jervis, having turned away moments before, turned back around interested.

"This one girl..."

Jeremiah smiled wickedly.

"And her best friend.."

Jervis became more excited.

"There's two of them?! They could be..."

Jeremiah chuckled.

"They could be used to gain control over everything... Plus if I win over the one thing my brother seems to think he will ever keep in the process.. It is a win in my book."

Jervis stared at Jeremiah's wicked gaze. He shook his head.

"Losing your head over some girl will distract from your greatness. She is very beautiful, but my power means more.. Ever since I lost my Alice..."

Jeremiah curled his nose in disgust.

"You mean your sister? I never understood that story about you. Very creepy and odd."

Jervis began to get annoyed.

"Do you want my help or not? Talking about my dear sister will not get you help."

"You should feel more inclined to work with me. My brother is the face of true insanity. I am the face of true sanity. Therefore, I will conduct myself in a self-respecting manner. Opposed to the court jester my brother so loves to be."

Jervis stared at the man who calm the entire time he spoke.

"How do you stay so calm."

Jeremiah sighed.

"Because nothing bothers me, really. I get angry yes, but nothing gets under my skin."
