24.

They were Katrina's guests at a small, restaurant owned by her

friend, Chef Angelo, and once Sean and Rozelle arrived they were treated like celebrities by the wait staff.

Angelo himself came to their table and introduced himself.

Katrina charmingly encouraged the Nichols to order whatever they liked from the menu

although she personally selected the wine, a Lafite-Rothschild

Bordeaux blend ,which was brought to the table.

Sean winced at the price tag and when he glanced up he caught Rozelle watching him but when their eyes met she shrugged

and flashed a whimsical smile as if to encourage him to take it all in stride.

Although she didn't drink herself, Rozelle gave the impression of

being  comfortable dining with people who could afford the best wines on the market.

Hmm...Sean was eyeing his wife thoughtfully.

There were still so many things which he didn't know about her

and Rozy never volunteered much about her past or personal life.

It was almost as if she were hiding something.

Apropos of nothing, Sean thought back to the night when he'd

found that unsettling message on Rozelle's facebook account.

He couldn't exactly recall the message word for word.

But it went something like ,"Congrats on your marriage but did you know that you

married a whore" or something like that.

At the time he hadn't taken the message seriously because he trusted Rozelle and loved her too

much to fully believe that she'd ever do something like that.

But at the back of his mind a kernel of doubt had been planted.

Sensing his intense stare , Rozelle suddenly looked at Sean again and raised her brows quizzically.

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

"I'm good." He said quickly.

Katrina had assured them that the dress was casual for this place

but she looked like a million bucks in the white blouse that was tucked into caramel leather pants.

Diamonds sparkled at her ears and the rock on her finger looked

large enough to choke an elephant.

Sean was glad that his Rozy had chosen to wear a simple black

dress and a single strand of pearls.

While he'd dressed his distressed jeans and plain white

shirt up with his one and only pin striped, Eddie Bauer dinner jacket.

In his opinion Rozy looked every bit as gorgeous and sexy as Katrina von Hapsberg and he felt

like the luckiest man in the world to be seated between two such lovely women.

After dinner, Katrina invited them back to her swanky hotel room

and dismissed her bodyguards before joining her guests in the

sitting room of the penthouse suite.

"Can I pour you another drink?" She asked.

"Sure." Sean said,"I'll have a scotch on the rocks."
