How Justin thinks his threats will go ⬆️

She gulped.

Y/N was late to class.

Because of that asshole, Justin Wu-Wilson. She couldn't stand him; day one and he was already threatening her.

She sighed.

Flashback to 5 minutes ago

"Yes," she breathed. "I know what he's capable of."

"Really?" It pissed her off that he was amused. "Because that wound on your waist says otherwise."

Her heart skipped a beat.

Some snow fell from the ledge of the window and thudded on the ground. It sounded like her missing beat.

A light shower of snow started falling outside.

She and Justin could hear the distant absence of children's laughter. Winter wasn't inviting to the young. But at least it guaranteed them a discreet conversation.

"How can you tell?" She said quietly.

"It's quite obvious," he bluntly mocked. "You keep holding it whenever you hear his name. Like it's opening up." He looked sad for a moment. "Is it?"

He took her silence as a yes.

"I know he would kill."

"And that boy would die—"

"What do you want?" She asked coldly.

"I want you to get close to him."

"And what's got you so invested in this?"

He rubbed her smooth, girly like features over with a hand. "Let's just say... I find the way he looks at you amusing."

Now Y/N was angry. "And how does he look at me?"

"Like he'd go insane without you. I suppose you're like a stress toy." He scanned her carelessly.

"He's already insane. Why should I do what you say?"

The girl already knew the answer.

"Unless you want that friend of yours to die."

"Fine. You've got yourself a deal." She grit her teeth.

"Oh, and you better get to class now, you're five minutes late."

"Asshole!" She screamed as she ran into her math class.

Present

"Alright. Since Miss Y/N was already we'll be doing partner work today."

The class groaned. That meant they would have to partner up with someone of the opposite gender.

"I'll give you a couple minutes to sort yourselves out."

The teacher sighed, returned to her mountain of paperwork.

Tentatively, Y/N approached Hardin.

"Hey... Hardin."

"Y/N... you're here....?" The weak smile on his face was inevitable.

"Can I work with you?"

"Of course!"

Those crazed eyes.

Dark eyes.

He sinisterly placed a hand on her arm, pulling her down.

"Ok... what are you working on?" She gingerly asked.

The boy quickly scattered the papers she was looking at beneath his math folder.

She wouldn't want to see those.

Everything single one had her name written on it over and over again.

He'd been working on it last night and couldn't wait to take her to them.

But he had to wait.

He was smart.

He was a golden boy after all.

"Oh nothing special. Shall we work on algebra now?"

She nodded, his grip still hard on her arm.

Maybe that new wound would match the one on her waist.

It was his way of showing her she was his, of course. He wasn't a psycho...

But they faded into themselves.

It's like the exact moment you feel a spark.

Justin mused to himself. He was in charge.

Things were going to get bloody.

And he liked blood.
